I think it is when Jang Uk mastered all of the techniques. She said that she wants him to be her lake as she can…
That was the original plan but I thought in ep4 she really put herself at risk for him. She kicked his butt to motivate him. She would scheme against him to save him... She really invested herself in taking her pupil out of troubles...
I am more interested in Songrim and Jang Uk's maidservant love story. They are so....cute together. They care…
True they both seem to have a lot of affection for him after he witnessed how Jang Kang left and after she witnessed how his mom left. But in another hand... I fear for them...
If the theory reveals itself true, both of them cannot live in the same body...
Possible but Jang Kang was present when the mages killed Nak Soo's family. Why he would allow that if he switched the Jin family's oldest daughter's soul with that kid's one? If she returned to her own body, where is the soul who was in that body until now?
Isn't Jang Uk technically Jang Kang's son and not the king? I mean it was still his body who mated with his wife,…
Daeho is a universe where body and soul are born together but they are also distinctive of each other this is why the soul can travel to another body. So based on this, we can assume that even if Jang Uk's body is biologically from Jang Kang's sperm and has his genetic patrimony, his soul is derived or is inherited from the King's soul.
Is there any possibility that Mu- deok is the original Jin oldest daughter who was weak and supposedly died and…
It is an interesting theory which could explain why Nak Soo ended up in this body she did not chose beforehand... Also it would be consistent with the fact that the doctor Heo Yeom "recognized" her ears.
But it changes nothing to the fact that Nak Soo committed soul shifting and the blue mark is in Mu deok's eyes. And also there was still a soul in Mu Deok's body for her to grow this big... Should we just consider it's gone?
If the theory reveals itself true, both of them cannot live in the same body...
Soul shifting is sorcery and a crime in Daeho. If the mages do their job properly they have to make Nak Soo face the consequences of her actions. Jang Uk when he will become mage and need to find his place among other mages, he will also have to deal with Nak Soo.
I really don't know how they will develop and conclude this arc of the story but it will have to happen. Hope Jang Uk will find a good solution for Nak Soo.
I know Yul is the SML. But I kinda have the feelin that the Crown Prince (Third Male Lead, should I call it?)…
He is surprised by how bold she is but he is the Crown Prince. He would not have his eyes on a poor maid even if she is quite a daring one to the point he was dumbfounded. Either they will be enemies or good friends.
The story advances at a really fast pace but it is ok as it is not confusing. Now Uk made for himself a new and powerful enemy. Love how Mu Deok doesn't let him down and even schemes against Uk for his own good. Now the long wait for next ep...
any idea why he was exiledcoz he was the king's son or something.. that thing is still confusing me lol
He was exiled as a way to protect him. Probably the head of Songrim thought it would be better for him be away from Songrim, the palace, the mages.. so he will live as a random person and he will not discover his true origin. Also the King and the crown prince would not know of his existence or else it could create a struggle for power and chaos.
I did not notice blatant xianxia elements in the two first episodes. But in ep3 there is one. When Mu Deok tells…
Well now you see they also appear in other genre like korean historical fantasy genre... Since it does not belong to and does not characterize xianxia. It is not from xianxia. It is also in xianxia.

Sorry that does not define xianxia. Imaginary bows are frequent in fantasy and monk in the mountain are in plenty of asian movies. What for you defines the xianxia genre?
I love the drama very much and the actors but surprised at how much it's similar to chinese xianxia dramas
I did not notice blatant xianxia elements in the two first episodes. But in ep3 there is one. When Mu Deok tells about how powerful she was as Nak Soo, we can see Nak Soo jumping in the air and striding on water defying earth attraction like the chinese warriors hysterically do in xianxia. It was kind of surprising because she did not do that previously and others fighters also don't do that. Since Mu Deok was bragging about herself and they showed that, I was thinking maybe it is not a xianxia part but a parody of xianxia part? Need to watch more fightings to make sure. But surely I would be disappointed to see them swordfighting like hung by cables and jumping at the top of bamboo forests like chinese do.
So many possibilities it hurts my head. :D
