We have seen soul switching between the King and Jang Kang and soul replacement with three soul shifters but there is no information about what happens to the soul which is "replaced". If it is still here but suppressed or if it goes to the body of the soul shifter or simply goes to the afterlife.

Agree it is very intriguing and interesting. I like the mage thing. Especially that ML is mage family but he would cover up a soul shifter that all the mages who are his friends' and ex fiancée's family are tracking and trying to find.

I feel you... It is hard to admit but Nak Soo did soul shifting. That is sorcery and a crime. She can try anything but her only outcome is to be killed as soul shifter or turn into stone. There is no way she can live happily ever after in a body she stole...

South Korean entertainment does not produce a lot of historical fantasy. I mean real ones. Not ones with sci-fi elements like time travel even through a "magical" process and not a scientific one. I really like the uniqueness and inventivity of this drama. After two eps, it is well executed with a good pace and interesting and intriguing set up of the characters. The only thing I would regret so far if that the identity of the villain is unveiled too soon. It is unusual. But ok the drama is unusual. And 20 eps means plenty of opportunities for plenty of villains.

6.9 is still too good for what this is. Watching this is like watching a trainwreck in the making and you think it can still be saved. Well no in the end, it is a complete catastrophy.

Apart from the ML cuff arm wristband which are shaolin style and a few buttons typically chinese, I think most of the costumes are influenced by what I usually see in Korean historical drama. Here it looks a mix of japanese chinese korean styles since these countries borrowed from each other in term of clothing. I agree the whole universe and style is a fusion one including western influence in hair, clothes and music.

To create fake accounts to support or take down a drama it is always wrong and cheating. I wish there was a way to clean the overall rating from all the fake ratings. If the drama is good it will naturally obtain a good rating. Also we have to keep in mind that a good drama is not always a popular drama. I hope this one will be good and popular beyond the fan base of the lead actors.

Strange that it took him two years to be a lead actor again. Also the rumors say he refused Dali and the Cocky prince (which was quite good btw). Good to see him in this drama. He is perfect for the role.

Agree it's bs. These people judge a book on its cover. The codes and elements defining a wuxia are not in this drama. This is a unique and new universe for a special fantasy drama.

Like there are 4 bases in baseball, in slang language, there are 4 stages of physical intimacy in a relationship. First base is kissing.

The mom said they should enjoy life and the time with the ones we love is short. Then she said she would be away for a week and asked if ML and FL were past the first base. She was telling him that she understands they are an adult couple who did more than kissing already and that he should spend time with FL when she is away.

This drama is innovative and refreshing. Hope it is a new trend of the genre in korean dramas.

Let's use these trolls' comments as a place to underline how good this drama is. I rate this 10/10 overall and same for each episode which aired. I support this drama 100% so far.

Because they want this drama to fail. Taking down the rating makes the drama less attractive to people who rely on ratings to select drama to watch. Also the drama has less exposition on the site being not at the top of most list generated.

But there is also something in the rating system which makes the rating fluctuate a lot during the early episodes. Probably we will need to wait ep 5-6 to see a more appropriate rating.

The guy Jin Moo presented himself to the little girl in disguise as the leader of the sect which will turn her into an assassin. The girl with Yul was a teen so either the little girl grew up into this teen or she shifted soul with her. In any case, this teen (Nak Soo) and Yul spent enough time with each other to share a special bond.

I am not sure about your second theory about DY body. I think when Nak Soo shift soul, her former body has no soul and must be kept "functioning" or it dies (Jang Uk mocked her that her body did not smell). Probably grown up DY cannot be Nak Soo kid's body. Surely we will know later why why Nak Soo ended in DY body and not in the one she chose.

The FC Barcelona reference was just a joke. We also see similarities where we want to see them.
