It cracks me up that every criticism of Young Ro's character is countered by a reminder of how unfortunate and…
Nobody is perfect. She has her qualities (She is nice, gentle, friendly, cheerful, forgiving, caring for friends and family...) but she also has her flaws (she is naïve, weak, cry baby, fake strong person who reacts angrily but gets slapped and then shut it... ) and she has her share of sad experience (mom died, sent to boarding school, delinquent dad, brother died, fell in love with the right person but at the wrong time...

She is no supergirl. She is a random girl from a good family in a private school from the year 1987. I wish she would do more reasoned and impactful things but it is not her personality. I hope she can wake up and go against her father and save her friends, her dorm and her guy. But if she could stop crying and start just helping around, I would be content enough.

I liked Kim Se Jeong as a tomboyish fighter In the Uncanny Counte but here, silly cute girl, is it another challenge for her acting skills. Also waiting to see Ahn Hyo Seop again after the disappointing Lovers of the Red Sky. Hope this one will be good!

but I feel sad for her. In this game, she is the loosing side. Surely she had her fun playing this game for her…
I think she was regularly in contact with NK and during these years in SK, she came back to NK to take orders, reconfirm her fidelity to the party and do some training camp. I don't think she and Soo Ho met 10 years ago. Soo Ho is 28 and he probably met her at a training camp to become a spy a few years ago only, maybe before going to Germany. This is why they don't look a lot older and she still has fond memories of their meeting.

She was brainwashed enough to pull the trigger (I am still asking myself if she knew only bombs in fringe locations would detonate...). But after meeting Soo Ho's again and learning the man who ordered her to kill him is his own adoptive father, She started to see the uselessness of her life and the importance of having people to love you and protect you like So Hoo would protect Young Ro despite his orders.

Anyway it is probably it is too late for her.

I heard about that movie but never took the time to watch it as I watch few indian movies. Thank you for your suggestion. I'll try it!

making black tiger betraying sooho is really a waste of a character.
He is a agent who would do anything and even reckless things to catch his target so of course this is expected. He can be an ally of circumstance but he would still catch who he considers is enemy of the country. Not sure if he will let Soo Ho go or catch him but probably there will be a final showdown between these two.

i absolutely love watching nam tae il getting played by cheong ya
but I feel sad for her. In this game, she is the loosing side. Surely she had her fun playing this game for her masters in NK but she lived a life of appearances. Not achieving for her personally. After all these years in SK, she should have defected and lived her own life under a new identity. Now she will just have to admit that she lived for no good reason and in the end, she has nothing and no one to live for.

I quite like her too. But I don't think she will survive... If she does what she said, she will be the enemy of…
It will be known that is is her who schemed the money heist and Nam Tae Il will know it because she suddenly escaped the dorm. He will link the dots. After that, she will be branded a traitor by NK too and it will be impossbile for her to go back there.

I think it is very likely that she will die trying to save Soo Ho. Because in the end, she has nothing and nobody to live for. Because Soo Ho saved her and she still has affection for him, she will try to give him the happy life she cannot have.

Soo Ho and Cheong Ya are the two few endearing characters since the beginning. I only hope everything is wrapped well. Not necessarily a happy ending but a good one.

I think we got betrayed too!!! It had to be a romance drama with a lot of scenes as the actors said before. but…
This is an hostage situation. Too much romance would look weird. Even the scene of the magic coffee was a bit too much even if it was understandable because they were relieved of an heavy weight and finally in the same boat . People are dying around them. So no outpouring of feelings. The romance is more in the non verbal communication and the behavior of one for the other.

cheong ya is most fascinating to me, also considering her greyness in that she could go either side right now.…
I quite like her too. But I don't think she will survive... If she does what she said, she will be the enemy of everyone and even if she flies abroad, Nam Tae Il will find her and suicide her for having made a fool of him.

Don't forget she's blaming herself cuz she's the one who asked to meet him it's not like he was shot randomly…
I hope she will not blame herself when she learns all the crappy things her dad did so he and his party can hold on power... She knows the ANSP wants to kill them and her dad is the director of the ANSP. Or maybe she thinks that he is an innocent man? She is too sensible and takes wrong decisions. Her dad did not protect his son. He cared about his career and not about them his children. He is the one reposnible of this mess. She should know it and challenge him.

Dad is dad after all
I rate him as a bad person and a bad dad who failed to keep his daughter in his house after he remarried and he was doing bad deeds while his son was killed in the line of duty. I can understand that he is her dad but she better hang on because the guy deserves to be punished. Dead count + 2 soldiers this eps because of her Dad's schemes and his rivalry with Tae Il.

Honestly they should have named this show "The Dorm" or "trapped in a dorm" or "escape from the Dorm". The show…
I admitted after a few eps that this could be a drama with a one place of action. Quite a special thing for a drama. But so far I don't find the eps are too long.

Happiness is a shorter drama in term of eps and ep-long. But it was still a draggy in the middle. Lucky it had other qualities.

I could not have any sympathy for Young Ro. She spent the whole episode crying about her dad. OK it is his dad but he is not a good dad and he is part of the corrupt politicians who colluded with NK to rig an election and caused many people to loose their life. The guy was the direct interlocutor of the NK higher ups. He also agrees to have the whole dorm blown up after he saved his daughter. What a despicable man. If he was to be shot dead by his fellow corrupt politicians, I would not shed a tear for him. I almost found Young Ro annoying. Because she was worrying for a bad guy. She should wake up about who her father really is.

Am I the only one who actually likes Dr Kang, ik she's not the greatest person but damn she's so intelligent and…
I always kept some trust in her even at her darkest moments when she detonated the bombs. She is one of the few interesting and entertaining character. This ep she was quite endearing trying to make Soo Ho promise something she wishes. She has a cute down to earth approach of romance consistent with the way she deals with Tae Il.

The drama has lost its dark tone. It is mostly humour and action. Now there is a big heist in the loop too. The scheme and action part is the most consistent and entertaining part as the bad guys and their silly wifes are going to turn against each other while the "good guys" are showing signs of distrust and ulterior motives.

I have not watched the preview for tommorrow so I don't know if the dad survived but if he did, he must be thinking "Dang, life has unexpected turns... "

One of the first scene of Soo Ho and the doctor. When he gave her a chance.
I liked the "knife" fight before.... I am not sure why he gave her another chance and why he was so sure giving away the identity of his dad would move her. I mean she is a die hard commie..

I think SooHo's sister will die and after that he will have no reason to stay in NK and SK as well. As KCY said,…
I don't want her to die. She is innocent of all this crappy situation... please no. Young Ro's older brother dying out of misfortune is enough.
