Same for me. Last episodes were disappointing. I think the doppelganger in the last epilogue is just a wink because…
I really did not want them to use the "hidden twin trope" after the "met as teens" trope. I am glad they did not used that so I quite enjoyed the final epilogue with that second doppelganger joke.
I also ended liking Yoo Jun more than the ML. I liked the younger version of the ML. But the older version was kind of bland for me. I did not like Yoo Jun's one sided love but I understand it. I wished he finds a new love interest. He is a good professionnal and he deserved someone to take care of his good heart.
So was that doppelganger in the epilogue just for laughs? I was thinking maybe it was Kang Mi Na's Aunt. Her hair…
Same for me. Last episodes were disappointing. I think the doppelganger in the last epilogue is just a wink because they once suggested the chances of a doppelganger are slim so what are the propabilities of having a second doppleganger?
Ep13 : These ajhummas' schemes are really bad but I feel sorry for Jang Mi Sook. She is scheming against and calling names her own niece without knowing it... Ohhh means an aunt and her niece are into the same guy? Ep14 with subs please...
Wait, I'm lost. Hyun is her cousin, right? Who is his father? And her mother's father is what, prime-minister?
Lee Hyun's father is the younger brother of Lee Hwi's father, the present King. Lee Hwi's grandfather from his mother side is the Left State councilor. A member of the State council of Joseon as per... Google :)
That's another level of disrespect. Like you are not worthy even for having sex with me. Sth like that.
I don't think the "you are not worthy even for having sex with me" exists for these kind of men who can force women against their will. And it is not like she was from the gutter and depraved. If she was pregnant from her husband and lost her child, it would have been more realistic than this opium addiction stunt. They wasted the character.
Let's be honest, there are no chances that they can be happy together if they stay at the palace. Because even…
The tone of this drama is quite dark but I hope it has a better ending. I want them to be happy together and with what they have but I also want the moral to be safe. It was not the case with Tale of Nokdu.

I still think they should have tried harder if they were so convinced to do the right thing. In the end, they have a happy ending but the bad guy who had an entire village of widows destroyed he is the one who wins. Storywise and morally, it is not great at all.
EP 13 was really fun. Love the way things are escalating between Dan Dan and Young Guk. The interactions with the kids are super cute. Waiting for kharma to come back bite the bad step mom.

I hope this drama will end better and the main leads will realize something if they have to be hidden to be happy.
