Maybe she did that to him so she will not be a weight for him to carry and he can move on with his life. I do…
Maybe her past made her be wary of happiness and breaking up was the best option for him to move on and for her to tame her fear. Life cannot be only about happy times. Sad moments teach the value of happy ones.
As for the senior, karma will surely come bite him.
There are people here bashing JW but the real culprit here is HR there was no reason for her to tell her and JW…
Maybe she did that to him so she will not be a weight for him to carry and he can move on with his life. I do not understand why she was so shaken when she learnt her senior was marrying. I suspect she had feelings for him. And JW will probably thingk she is in a bigger mess now because her "ex" is marrying.
I thought they started to date too fast, because of drunk talking and because of the brother being nosy. I don't mind if they have to redo the process.
The synopsis is not very original but this can trigger some very fun situations. I did not have this in my radar but the trailer has made me very curious.

So true... bodyguard smiling between his teeth, lame ex bf, decent love rival, bad guy, funny crazy lunatic, tortured guy looking for redemption, silly guy loves his boss... this guy is good in every role.

King the Land and My Demon, I loved the main couple. They visually looked great, and their chemistry was good on screen. But the problem was… the story around them was not great. Things looked forced, convoluted for the sake of cuteness and the worst is the story of the secondary characters. They were uninteresting. KTL's romance looked forced, and the ML's secretary and FL's friends' stories sucked big time especially the noona romance. Same for My Demon, grandma, secretaries, friends, relatives' stories sucked. They were not endearing.
The leading couple can look gorgeous and great together but if the story is lame and convoluted and the secondary characters are not endearing, overall, the drama is a failure for me.
One example of a good drama is Hometown cha cha cha. Not only the lead couple was good together and their story was endearing but also the secondary characters were great. They make you smile and cry.
The leading couple here looks nice, and I believe their chemistry will be great. But the story and the secondary characters and plots need to be good too. Looking at the secondary cast... I trust it will be the case... I love Kwak Dong Yeon, Park Sung Hoon... even Lee Joo Bin... Fingers crossed.
He sent her to a terrible demise. Now he wants her back? If Lady Dong is his concubine, I plain drop the drama.…
These kind of stuff make the story inconsistent or consistent. For exemple, why he would grant a concubine position to Court Lady Dong? Because she lied for him to ascend the throne? So that is a reward for a lie she made to allow him to be King. Where is the morality here? Or his mother forced him to take her as a concubine? But what her use? She has no family and no power.
If the story is about ML doing bs killings as King because of duty and he tries to make FL understand him, yeah I will probably drop it....
I hope they can pull it off. I like the misdirection, setting it up as a standard love story then turning it on…
Be punished for what since it appreared Yoo Hyun Bo was the treator obtaining a false testimony. Why grant the wish of a traitor to kill the victim that traitor wanted to frame. That makes little sense for me.
As for the senior, karma will surely come bite him.
