Of course there are plenty of fictional stories where the lovers are tragically separated and 500 years or 19th lives after they are reunited and recognize each other.
But it is the first time I see one of the lover kill herself because a kid god told her it was the solution for her: "to die by her own decision and action" is the solution as she will have her chance in the next lives. Not a very nice idea to promote. People who believe in reincarnation might take this at face value.
To add to this, the kid god said Gods create a framework of fate but humans can fight it using the only thing possible : "courage". Is committing suicide courage?
I am still watching this because I like the two leads but honestly the main story is far-fetched at times and the secondary ones with the other fairies are quite boring.

It is fine if he gains 50million won from his wife for breaking her vows and cheating on him. But why sue the other guy when she is the one who spread her legs? He did not force her. 1 - No hints noted but I suspected she was also a reincarnation of the palace maid. It is in line with the idea of fated love throughout time. 2 - Maybe the killer was a reincarnation of the prince/King and he died after the 5 murders in 1993 and he was reborn as the detective? This is why he did not kill during all this time? It is an assumption because I do not think the cop could have been at cops' place and killer's place at the same time. 3 - Agree. I do not find them endearing. The dog is an accessory. The old one is boring and not fun. The handsome one is annoying. I find the detective's colleagues funnier and more useful than them.
