From the look of the latest episodes... just "Blood Bath"?

What worries me is that Chumu is only a mere general and Rou is just a maid in the palace. They are not fighting for a cause. they have no support. So far they are not even suspicious of what is arriving towards them to harm them. Yes, I guess I shall brace myself as the middle part of the drama is going to be very painful.

"out of sight out of mind". Rou and Chumu have been apart for so long and barely interracting... Yes it makes it hard to believe their love will prevail. Because in reality, in this kind of situation... I think it is finished. lol. But Ok, we shall see if it is an happy ending.

It is thickening but mostly it is the evil guys scheming against the few good guys.

I also believe it is a test for her feelings for Chumu but I don't like seeing Rou with the third prince spending so much time together and being so close (he wants her as a gf and she would only accept him as a friend so far). Chumu is scarcely on screen. We don't even see him doing something valuable. There is a lack of balance and it is a choice of the writers which is quite annoying for me.

I also have the same vibe. It looks like a huge mess with lots of evil characters and they are much more powerful than the few good ones. And so far ep22 it is really not difficult to have one character slayed out of the blue.

At first I thought like you. I could not understand why she turned her back to a great guy to go all alone on this path and be at the mercy of her worst enemy. But I think she was never good or smart from the beginning. It takes a lot to bed with your enemy and revenge is not an excuse. I don't know how she will develop now but I am pretty sure she will suffer until the end.

The tone of this drama is getting darker and darker. Depraved men trying to bang maids. Maids selling themselves to their master for personnal gain. Maids, women,servants being slapped, kicked, beaten, executed, hanged. Useless violence just to make the blood boil... I don't even see once character who would be worthy of surviving all this BS ... Chumu is pretty useless now and everyone takes advantage of Rou's kindness. This drama is going to end badly.

This third prince annoys me more and more. He knows she has a man in her life and still he suggests her to destroy her lover and give him a chance. What a pathetic man. I guess he is half way from hating them and hurting them.

I agree he will bring a lot of misery to Rou and Chumu. This drama doesn't look like a comedy drama now. There is plenty of palace schemes and people are dropping dead one after another. This will end in a bloodbath.

Where is he decent? She was mourning her friend and he just took it as an opportunity to touch her hand. What kind of decent man does that?

Yes I agree with you. I don't understand why she let him touch her dress and apply ointment on her knees. Not anyone could do that to a woman back in time. Especially to an unmarried one.

I am even more annoyed because Rou is a smart girl. She knows the guy is bullying his way to her side as she said to him each of his favors comes with a high price. I don't know until when we need to endure this. Maybe they want to use this to tell us about her faithfulness to her feelings for Chumu but still it annoys me.

He will for sure. He does not look like one who can accept that people don't bow to his domineering ways. It is funny he said to his mother it would not be right to force Rou after he forcefully kissed her...

Fuca Fuheng was severely mauled by the writers in Yanxi Palace. They left him with nothing. No wife, no kids, no lover, just a sacrifice to make in the end. I hope they won't treat Xu Kai's character the same way in this drama. After ep. 14, somewhere, I fear this will end in a bloodbath.

Gosh I so agree with you. I want to slap his cunning sneaky weasel's face. He wants to flatter his father by writing an article about being frugal and not be wasteful but he convinces Rou to sew gems on the crown princess' dress so it can backfire at her. I really hate him bullying, blackmailing, threatening Rou to force himself on her side with his fake smile.

When they were at the restaurant and he said to Rou "Are you afraid I will find him (Chumu) and have him killed? Gosh, the only fact that he thought about it and said it proves how rotten his brain is. Surely he will do that.

I don't know if the writers will make her his concubine (if they do I drop the drama) but I believe he is the big villain of the story. When he lost his temper and kissed her by force, it really showed his bad and disrespectful character.

Happy ending please.

Trailer has a lot of cute moments but I hope the story will be good too. The two main leads look good together.

I hate this kind of story and chinese drama are infamously known for using such plotlines. I will drop this with no regrets if it takes that direction.

I am really not a fan of heavy convoluted palace plots with powerfull ones torturing the weak ones. She is in the palace after 7 episodes and they are 48 eps left... Now only the Sheng family and the princess keep the fun going.

The drama has two cute leads and I have affection for them but the rest is a bit messy. I have to carve and paste some scenes, shoot or interpret others in my head to really understand what they are truly living together that creates the bond between them.

Why it took so many episodes before they show that when they are in the game, they see avatars of themselves in an envirronment onscreen. They should have done that a lot sooner. Not all the viewers are gamers. lol.
