Physically I don't find the gap between him and the FL is so big. She looks 27 or 28 and he looks like 40 even if his real age is 50. What annoys me more is how he pushes himself on her good side when he knows she is not interested. It's sneaky.

After 6 eps I like the mix of humor, romance (cute main couple, several potential secondary couples) , action and palace plots. I am intrigued by the numerous characters. Hope they will blend well in a good story and not move erratically and get killed without meaning. So far so good.

No it is another guy from a family in Hangzhou Chu Mu and his friend Du Ning go to after Chu Mu decides to leave his own city. I think it is the guy completely drunk they meet in the garden who talks to them and goes to sleep.

I was at episode 2 when I wrote that comment. Now ep4 he is developping in the right direction but he is still impulsive and a little bit ahead of himself.

Why they replaced Park Sung Hoon? So disappointed.

The first time he saw her his reaction was so exaggerated it looked like an expression of his playfulness rather than him being struck by love. He went to find her and stalked her and he swore that sooner or later she will like him. Of course he likes her beauty and noticed how she is different from others girls he met but I hardly believe using schemes and lies to woo her is because of sincere feelings. She already has a liking of him but I think he will need more time before he really loves her.

Considering the number of episodes and the number of characters I agree a lot of not funny things will happen before the end.

I am not sure he is really in love with her. For me he tries to woo her because he is used to do that as a game to pass the time. Like it is a personal challenge.

She did not need to tell him "I don't want to be with you" . The fact that she did not care about him after she knew he was the hand who wrote the letters of her dear penfriend should have taught him. The fact that he confessed and she was always uncomfortable with it even three years later should have been enough. He, as a person, teen or adult never meant anything to her. Sad for him. But the truth.

He is the loser. He failed to win the heart of the woman he liked. He failed to help and support the old grandmother who helped him. He failed to learn kindness is not to be repaid but it is to be passed on... He was wrong all the time. This is why he ended with nothing.

Lol. He did well on this drama but his character is still the looser.

Probably the tone will turn darker. I just hope it will not be a fcked up ending like loosing your love or sacrifying yourself to save the country. I hate this kind of endings.

I dropped Dance of the Sky Empire after a few episode because for me the chemistry with the female lead was not good. Based on the trailer, I already like him with the female lead (OK, I am a fan of Li Yi Tong). I Hope the story will be good and the ending will be happy.

You are missing the point. They were both craving for that kiss and DM's penpal does not exit. He is a made up character.
