You are right Ji Pyong was a struggling orphan and he was never in a situation to make a good impression on young Dal Mi and become a real friend. He also lacked selflessness necessary to have the right behavior and words for Dal Mi. He would have yelled at her for a misunderstanding.lol. This is why I believe he could not have writen the letters by himself as they needed a consistent style and progression.

SDM and NDS have two very compatible personalities. NDS saw her in the park for a few second and when he was given the chance to see her again, he took it.

HJP doesn't trust people. He always want to be leading, in command, controlling the outcome even if he has to be rude and ruthless with people. This is why he doesn't have friend. He doesn't want to have friends. Or he would change his ways. He likes Dal Mi now because he wants to control her destiny. He said he wants her!?? And the challenge Do San poses to him is his pleasure. This is why he used her scrunchie in his car to try to piss him off. But he has no chance to break this couple made in heaven.

Ji Pyeong never said sorry to Dal Mi for the scheme with grandma to deceive her. He said he went to look for Do San to ask him to go to the party. That was to deceive her again. Ji Pyeong amazes me. I don't know if I should put that on his selfishness or on the fact that he is tactless and has no clue as to how to treat people with consideration. Sometime I feel like he is doing this on purpose.

I was just saying he is smart not to bring his rival in a conversation with his girlfriend. Furthermore, it would have been like he is inquiring something and she would have felt like she has to explain to him why her scrunchie was in the car of his rival. He spared that moment to her and chose to trust her. So yes I think his move was a smart one. It did not do it for himself only.

Now if you want to speak about a generality, HJP mostly lies for his own interest. He participated to and even led the scheme to lie to Dal Mi only to repay his debt to Grandma. If he did not have this debt to repay, he would not have writen these "stupid" letters and he would not have lied to Dal Mi again 15 years later.

When she learnt about the letters being fake and asked the truth from him. He lied again. He said he was the one who wrote these letters and made Dal Mi believe there is not one man but two men. He lied to Dal Mi that Do San went to help her at the night event for money and made her believe it. Why? Because he wanted to place himself as a prospect for her.

So I don't know if when Do San lies he is always smart and I don't know if Ji Pyeong is always a liar. It is just that I am more lenient towards Do San's lies rather than towards Ji Pyeong's lies. For me they tell me Do San is a generous and considerate person and Ji Pyeong is a selfish person.

Do San piggybacked Dal Mi and she was not drunk to the point things were unclear for her. They even had a meaningful discussion and she told him about her wish to see him in his suit. He left her after she agreed to stay put. If she was not able to stay alone, she would have told him. He left her to do something for her. How can ou call this selfish?

Why you say he accepted Alex's offer. He did not yet. He wants to ask Alex for a favor as he knows Alex would agree to give wings to SST. Plan B means a way to give Dal Mi the confidence she lost for the Demo day. He wants Alex to give him a solution to do it because he likes her and because he is SST and if she fails on the demo they all fail.
