We only see him write the letters twice. The first time under the dictation of Grandma who tells him what to write, correct him and agree with the writing etc... The second time is when he tells his birthday wish from the TV. Probably he wrote some letters by himself. But what I mean is that he was not invested in them and in their communication.

I don't understand why people say it is him in the letter and he was in love with her. It is clearly not the case. If it was, he would have not left her without a letter. He would have found a way to write to her even when in college and after when he became successful.

The truth is when he left the city to go to seoul he never had a thought for her and only cried because he misunderstood Grandma and was moved because she forgave him and gave him new shoes. It was only about his relationship with Grandma and writing these letters was only to thank her and repay her kindness. He never had any feelings for young SDM.

No he did not. The letters were written by him and Grandma and he never invested himself in them. They represent her life for SDM but they represent nothing for him but a chore to repay Grandma.

He is not her daddy long legs as he never paid for her studies in college because she never went to college.

Plz Stop the fake news! :-D

Thanks for your input. It's good to learn about wedding procedures from other places.

Truth is what I said is in the French Law. Any religious officer can be fined if he celebrates a religious wedding before the legal wedding. But in reality, I am not sure it is really applied. There are few controls and Catholic church has declined, there are many religions now, traditional weddings and some just want a wedding party out of any religious belief. So I know people who married religiously or traditionally or in a private party and then they did the legal wedding later when they had kids and some never dit it... lol.

I think either you marry or you don't. If you do, you should do the legal and religious or traditional or custom whaever private party at the same time. And I agree legal wedding first is the right order as it is the one which makes you married in front of the world.

In South Korea a 24yo can date a 19yo . There is nothing illegal. The key question is : Is this love or one taking advantage of the other? Ra Ra is 24 she could date one of the two stalker too. I don't mind the younger one but the older one, even if she is willing... it's definetively not the kind of trope I enjoy in dramas... And yeah she could date the three of them but marrying the three of them no... that's not legal.

I don't know about South Korea but In my country (France), you have to be legally married (Civil procedure) before you can celebrate any religious marriage in a church with the wedding dress, rings, kiss and so on. A few hours difference is enough but it has to be done before. It is made to prevent unexpected surprise like the bride or groom runs away after being arrived at the altar.

I would not be surprised if in South Korea, the marriage certificate has to be obtained before any wedding ceremony or at least the marriage is registered at the district office. Better safe than sorry.

I think this is why Ra Ra says she was married once.

does Seo Dal Mi finds out about Nam Do San until episode 5 ? the granny at least ?
Already at the end of ep 4 when he does the guilty face and says sorry to her, she knows there is something wrong. I think in ep 5 she will grill him without mercy until he speaks the truth or at aleast a part of it. Or maybe he will utter additional nonsenses to make things worse...

Title Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol Spoiler
Yeah, everyone is all up in arms about Jun and Rara’s age difference but I find Dr. Cha coming onto her way…
He looks 40. As for her she is so naïve like she is 17. It is annoying how he tries to get on her good side using any opportunity to come see her or be with her. She looks like she does not suspect anything weird from him but any word she says he twist it in a chance to be with her. That's sick. The most cringeworthy is how he talks and smile and laugh weirdly like he knows he needs to hide his real intentions before he achieve his goal. Creepy.

Jun is 4 years younger maybe but he does not try to force his way to be next to her and she does not do that either. They are just very natural in their meetings or writing to each other. Just that he worries for her more than usual.

Anyway I hope the intentions of Dr Cha become clearer soon. There is enough to worry with this Psycho stalker she saw in her dreams.

I don't know which man made me cringe the most in today's ep. The stalker who comes at her appointment with Dodosol or Dr Cha and his fake smile and his subtle moves to try to woo her like he would lure a 10yo kid into his home with some candies. OK she is 24 but... Yuk... I feel very uncomfortable watching this.

You are right. I guess he made the proposition to protect JJ and be fair to Du Lei who helped them. Win win for them. The Justice looses. Like in real life. :-D

You have a romanticized view of him and of his character. I keep a hardline view about him. Because his past and background cannot be excuses. Because he never atoned for his wrongdoings. And because I don't consider his failures and losses a compensation for his wrongdoings. Kharma might be the justice of the gods and I understand that some people think it is good enough but I believe in the justice of men. Anyway, he gets away with it. Good for him.

You are right, some people escape justice in real life. I think the most frustrating thing is that Yuan Shuai said to Du Lei he has no patience with wrongdoings but still... he proposed the deal. It is like he bought peace and security for his couple and forgot about justice for the ones prejudiced by Du Lei's doings. That's was not the doing of a great character... but ok, it happens in life.

That part was rushed. They should have done better. You don't even know if he atones for it or he just took a deal and walks free.

You are very lenient with Du Lei just like YS and JJ were. But I don't think they are friends. You don't make this kind of deal with a friend: "You stop your bad deeds including the ones against us and we let you get away with your misdemeanors..." I don't think YS and JJ will invite him over diner or camping as from now...

The problem I have with this is that he escaped justice and will never be blamed for having done wrong. How can he become better if he is not even punished or reprimanded for his wrongdoings? This is why I believe he is relieved but I doubt he will become any better. In the car and in the street with JJ he was just creepy as heck.

If someone steals you and he breaks his leg at the end of the road, that's not justice. Kharma is not justice. He might have lost people and failed against others but that cannot be considered punishement because these bring no justice no compensation no appeasement to the ones who suffered and were prejudiced by his wrongdoings.

They should have made him go to jail.

Okay, I just finished ep36. Man I liked most of the proposal part. Although I feel like the Du Lei part got cut…
Du Lei's made plenty of bad deeds. He manipulated infos to have employees fired to protect his wrongdoings. He made fake financial reports. He also assaulted JJ. He defamed JJ and YS by forging a fake story that they both leaked info to gain profit... and he gets away with it. Because YS and JJ covered him in exchange of a promise of him to stop doing wrong. But that's illegal. JJ was his colleague. Manipulating the financial accounts is a misdemeanor which can impact the reputation of the company. She could be taken responsible for that. The whole Du Lei closure is rushed and wrong. In the end, I freaked for the poor girl Du Lei met in the japanese restaurant.

I agree, at least Linda went to jail and repaid her debt to the society and becomes a florist. A have more sympathy for her rather than for Du Lei. He walked out of the restaurant and smiled like he is ready for new bad tricks.

Chinese drama have a biased way to describe police and justice. Police are always heroes and Justice does need Judges, prosecutors or defending Lawyers. In fact, it is better if everyone just behave nicely everything is forgiven and everyone lives in the most beautiul and harmonious world.

I honestly think Episode 30 could have been the best ending. The bad guys were caught. The main leads got back…
I liked the drama but I have to agree with you. I waited for the 6 last eps to air in order to see what would be told. I skipped a lot (secondary couple) and for the rest, apart from our two cute lovebirds, it has nothing special. Worse, some developments were not good at all. Could totally stop after ep30.
