Speaking of no justice, Du Lei escaped the claws' of justice because YS and JJ covered for him after he promised to stop his bad deeds. But that's not justice either.

That's not a good sign for that girl if he considers her a 'commander' and they are on a battlefield . When he went out of the restaurant and smiled, I was not sure it was sign of good things or the girls is going to be treated like he treated the 'general' and the 'marshal'. Du Lei got it away way too easily after all his bad deeds.

He did it for Grandma and she was helping for the letters so he would have to throw her under the bus. Also technically NDS involved himself after HJP said he could not get them into Sandbox and the deal broke. HJP had to come to the rescue of NDS on the event and control things according to the plan he previously planned.

Now it is not about a white lie to pass an hurdle. It is about keeping SDM or not, into a delusion that she found her First Love, the man of her letters in the body of NDS. This is a losing game for everyone and this is so not like HJP. He is an investment mogul. If he was to be drawn into a failing investment plan he would stop before the loss. But here he keeps doing the wrong thing.

He is confused emotionally and he doesn't really know where he stands with respect to SDM. Furthermore Gandma believes all this lie is helping her grand daughter to be cheerful, confident and to improve herself. She is unconsciously pressuring HJP to keep the lie because of this. And it looks like it is not going to be cleared soon.

I approve this ending! but I would replace In Jae by lawyer Jung Sa Ha being happy for SDM and NDS. Her part is not supposed to be big and she will be on the side of the good guys. I support her to woo HJP under the radar. They have a good work relationship and it hints at the end that a romance can bloom from it.

Not that I don't like In Jae and don't want her to find her soulmate. I thought maybe In Jae and HJP could be compatible since he is as cool as she is cold. But it would be too much to ask him. In Jae will have character development and she will find peace or a truce with her sister but with her attitude at the hackathon selection, I don't expect her to become a great nice woman to match with HJP. I expect to see aggressive tricks from her against SDM and NDS and their backer HJP until she has to fight her brother in law and father in law.

If with all this In Jae wins the heart of HJP, we can call these two the real ML and FL of the drama because they would have made the longest journey from orphan and bitchy older sister to love and success.

Yes... sorry for spoiling the plot for you. It is still a classic of tragical play. It is written in classical alexandrine which is not so easy to read now. The "modernized" versions do not have the powerful writing and genius of the original text. If you don't feel like going through the book, I suggest you to watch the 1990 french movie adaptation. It's a good adaptation imo.

HJP is a good guy and he deserves to have someone to love. I guess we won't escape the love triangle since I doubt they will develop two romances in parallel. In any care I am sure he won't end empty handed romantically speaking. I ship him with that lawyer in ep4 at the very end.

DYLB was messy in its last part because they wanted to give everyone a nice ending and even spare the villain annoying bullying characters so they disrupted the progression in the development of the characters to the point it was erratic and not understandable. I don't think it will be the case here as it has a right balance between characters description and progression of the action. DYLB was very focused on characters and personalities and to try to save everyone and their feelings was it's downfall.

OMG how could I have spent so many minutes exchanging with an empty profile who just registered today... Poor me.

SDM asked him what he wanted for his birthday and he wrote what a man was saying on TV: "play go stop with his whole family". That's fact. He did not bother to take one minute of his life to write something personal and tell his real wish to a girl who genuinely asked him. So he was not invested in the letters. That's not an interpretation. This is an understanding.

Maybe when they played Go stop alltogether, HJP wished he had a family he could play the game with. But it does not tell that 15 years ago, when he wrote his answer and copied the idea from the TV, he also wished the same thing. You are just projecting a supposed wish 15years later on an event 15 years earlier. Look again at the scene. There is nothing which suggests he wished that. Had he not heard that wish on the TV, he would not have written it.

I am glad you agree the story of the dog was fake. It does not make others things of the letters fake but you cannot alledge that they were true either. Because you don't know these other things. How can you qualify something you are not even aware of?

What are the other parts that you deem are true in the letters? I am not cherry picking. I am just telling you facts that happened and my understsanding of them. HJP did not even remember what he wrote to her that was so important for her she cared to realize his wish 15years later. That's fact.

HJP came up with the idea. He provided the car, watch, suits, place... to maintain the lie. NDS just read the letters and decided to go by himself to help her and because he fell in love at first sight with her. Now he is trapped because he really likes her but she likes a NDS who is not him and who actually does not exist. So both will ultimately be hurt by NJP's idea or maybe this is how he is bringing them together.

I am not discounting the letters. I am saying they are not his feelings and not his soul. That's fact. In Ep4 when NDS asks him if he remembers what was his birthday wish in the letter he wrote to her. He has no idea. And then he remembers he just wrote what a man was saying on tv. So how can you say he was personally invested in these letters. Even the story of his dog which died was fake. He never had a dog. It was made up to look sympathetic and write comforting words for SDM as she separated from her sister (and mother). Grandma told him the story and words to write in order to comfort her.

I think it is necessary to stick at was is shown to form an understanding and not speculate. In ep1 it is nowhere showed that he has feelings for her or was personally invested in writing to her by himself. Now that they meet again, he is confused as he might start to like her but he is deceiving her at the same time and his game of lies is handing over her to another man.

FL and SML have no backstory together. The only time they talked to each other is when she told him to stop following her.

The letters were a forgery and communication between her and a NDS who does not exist in reality. That soul she met with these letter do not exist and that person was certainly not HJP. HJP only wrote the letters to help grandma and they are now partners in crime again to keep deceiving SDM after they invited NDS to join them but the guy fell for SDM at first sight because she is pretty and he is a nerd.

SDM has no feelings for HJP and never had. Her first love in that soul in these letters who has now the good looks of NDS.

I would say Bai Lu and Leo Luo and their great chemistry account for 70% of the success of Love is sweet. In this drama, the SML is a more endearing and interesting character so far. ML has more mystery around him but SML has more background and he makes a better pair with FL. When he looks at her he is totally smitten. I think now I will wait to binge watch this drama once it has finished airing.

I have seen her four last drama where she is FL and this is a bad pairing. Bai Lu is better paired with pretty boys rather than handsome men. lol.

Roxanne was stubborn and capricious and vain. A woman who loved beauty. She fell in love at first sight with Christian because of his beauty and she made Cyrano protect her "love" when she never exchanged a single word with Christian. She could not stand the idea that Christian could be a prize idiot. This is why Christian asked Cyrano to write letters for him. To lend him his soul while he would use his beauty. The man Roxanne loved was the soul of Cyrano in the body of Christian.

Christian is killed during the siege of Aras and after Cyrano dies she says "I only loved one man but I lost him twice".

The common part here is that SDM loves an man who does not exist. He is the soul of letters written by HJP and her grandma in the body of NDS from Samsan tech. She clearly says it when he asked her why she likes him. The only point referring to him was his "beautiful hands".
