Episode 15 is an example of when writers run out of ideas and therefore they try to prolong a simple story by…
I think you are a little bit too harsh. SB had some real character development here. She dreamed of the day DH would like her and confess to her but she finally understand this is not everything in her life. DH called his dad out but if he knew he gave his tickets for the musical to his dad so this one can go trick his mom and go travel to meet his old flame... He can be angry but little does he know he contributed to all this. I agree with you regarding YJ but regarding the mom, I have leniency because she had a hard life and I can understand her. She wants something easier for her son and that's understandable. For me it is not like she love YJ . Just that she loves her son. Surely if she learns her son loves someone else she would support that person.
I thought episode 15 was really good. If I just took episode 15 and looked at it on its own, it reminded me of…
They used that ep to resolve some situation using a lot of comedic strings. I was not disappointed. I liked how the situation was resolved between DS and GB. I liked the comedy leading DH's mom to meet her former best friend and better understand her. There is evolution between our main leads but not in the right way. I was not expecting more. When she said she will reply to his question later... It as totally expected. This and the final situation when she leaves are proof that she is awakening from her childish infatuation.
I am angry with the dad. He should have made sure the mother could not get out of the bag and swim her way out…
I too thought maybe the mother was not in the travel bag. But why would the father make the trip to the reservoir in the middle of the night if not to dump the body of his wife? Or we can imagine it is someone else inside or the dog of the family or maybe the dad did not dump anything into the lake but some passerby just thew away an old bicycle hidden in the bag. But it would be too much useless leading of the audience. Very likely it was the mother in the bag. And now I hope there will be a good explanation.
Since the romance has not really and officially started between the two leads. So many things to resolve within…
Really? I am disappointed for Eun Byul. I thought she had her chances with him. It's too bad this character just disappeared like that... He deserves better.
I just have to tell you that I did finish Goblin, SWDBS, YWCFTS and I don't regret a single minute of it. YWCFTS…
I liked JJH in My Sassy girl, Windstruck, Daisy, The thieves, Assassination, but I did not enjoy her dramas that I watched. I also dropped the Legend of the Blue sea where she had even crazier antics. I don't think it has to do with her talent as she is a great actress but it is because, for me, the characters she was portraying seemed a bit too at odds with the story or the ML. That's my personnal feeling about it of course.
What I want to see in the last episode is a time jump to 3-4 years like in Itaewon class. So we can see what there…
Since the romance has not really and officially started between the two leads. So many things to resolve within two eps: Raggae boy and Cinderella, the younger sister and Puppy, the parents and the old flame and YJ mother, YJ and the Director and of course DH and SB's career in the Head Office and in the Store... It is possible it will happen like you said and I think it won't be bad if it does.
I just have to tell you that I did finish Goblin, SWDBS, YWCFTS and I don't regret a single minute of it. YWCFTS…
Regarding YWCFTS I remember I had difficulties to find the plot and the ML interesting but I don't remember what was exactly at stakes anymore... a UFO to go back home... ? And the FL... I did not know if she looked like that on screen because she was supposed to portray a bad capricious actress full of antics or if she was just bad. I just could not find her sympathetic or sincere. I usually don't go back to a drama I dropped by myself but if you advise it, maybe I will give it a chance...
- Eternal Love Of Dream : Never watched. I am really not into these kind of chinese drama with lovers on a span of thousands years with weird love triangles looking like two timings and deaths then I look for you again in another life... - Pinocchio and Descendants of the Sun : You should finish them. I thought they were decent dramas with good main leads (good secondary couples too) and entertaining stories - Forest : Never finished it. Chemistry between the leads was weird. Male leads had a strange character not very compelling. Connections a bit far fetched and main plot too long to install.
Never finished: Goblin, Strong Woman DBS, You who came from the stars, The Heirs, W, Wightlifting Fairy ...Plenty of "popular" drama but I am never tormented by them. When I abandon them it is forever. I never consider them again and never come back give it a second chance.
I think we all have to admit that the main story is not as good as it could have been unfortunately.
For a drama to be great it needs both good characters' development and good plot development. Here we have great characters' development but mainly by sub plots and sub stories and detailed writing on dialogues and interactions. The drama maintained the main plot by flashbacks and telling of souvenirs and it was OK or sufficient or we did not need more until ep 12. From ep 13 and for the final stretch the accelation of pace of the main plot just contradicted the elements previously shown. How a drama which paid so much attention to details and consistency suddenly falls into an easy writing. It's to the point many viewers just can't believe it. Now everything is not lost and I hope the two last eps will be good. No matter what I will still like most of the characters.
The two last eps are fillers and the drama has lost its special touch. Not only the writer doesn't seem to know…
I agree with you that the twist regarding the head nurse is hardly believable. It takes a lot of qualities to be a nurse in a psychiatric clinic for 20 years and many people just cannot accept that this qualified person even a scheming one can turn into a murderer (she killed the father of the little girl) and now she behaves extremely erratically and we don't understand the logic and purpose of her actions. Why she would reveal herself now, turn into a black witch with a creepy smile overnight and what is she looking for?
It is too late. It happened already. So now we just want to know why this turn of events.
Either she is the mother which would be something terrible and laughable because it would mean she survived being thrown in the stairs, locked and then put in a bag and drowned into a lake. They would need to explain how she survived and why she wanted to witness her husband's misery. Saying it was exhilarating is not enough.
Or she is not the mother and we need a plausible and logical explanaition about why this person lived watching the father suffer. Why she suddenly behaves and talks like she is the mother of MY. What is her true origin and what are her motives or the reason of her actions and how she will be handled and cured.
I'd prefer to see Nurse Park be Do Hui Jae like Norman Bates was his mother rather than seeing the mother being a psycho killed hidden for 20 years as a nurse and back for revenge or whatever she wants. If they cannot do this, I would be really disappointed.
And why not? In dramaworld I have already seen the main guy talking to the sister of his crush. And in real life too... ;-)
