Eun Yu is his fated love but so far no romance between them.

I like her. Her past is making her endearing. She is like an elephant in the room. She is a 2023 girl stuck in 1995 but does have anything serious to do in 1995. Then she decided to do something she cannot achieve anyway. I wish for character development from her part though because she must be in 1995 for some reason.

If she really want's to stop that marriage, she could try to find her dad who is still in South Korea (supposedly) and suicide him but I don't think it can happen. Agree she has to be born to be there in 1995 anyway.

Eun Gyeol will probably ask for her help without telling her his true identity. Let's hope it triggers happy and funny things.

I don't think she can change the fact that her mother will marry Ji Hwan in the USA. She just does not know it herself. I suspect she is in the past for something else. I hope there is more about her character in 1995.

I like that she has a direct personality. It is more in line with the idea that she comes from 2023 with no purpose but to put an end at her own life. Even if she should not be able to do it theorically. She takes things like a game with nothing really at stake for herself.

I also like her relationship with Eun Gyeol. She used to tease and taunt him. Hope their new relationship as teammates will trigger interesting things and that she will develop as a character.

So far he is just going to team up with her to reach his goal but surely they will develop feelings. They are each other's fated love.

If we consider that what happened already happened then nothing should change. Eun Gyeol an Eun Yu just go back to 2023 with more knowledge about their parents and family. But in time travel dramas, they often make it that the future is changed like in My Perfect Stranger. I suspect the future will be changed especially the way father and son will treat each oher.

Maybe later they will become mother in law and daughter in law too...

A love story maybe but in their intentions... they are against each other.

And I thought Se Kyeong's family was dysfunctional. Compared to Chung Ah's family it is paradise on earth...

There is not really a Se Kyeong/Eun Gyeol thing. They met twice and disliked each other. The whole thing afterwards is misunderstanding.

At first glance this looks absolutely crazy and silly but I find the characters very endearing and the writing is top notch. Loved the ending of ep 8

Eun Gyeol only met her twice. First time he call her an ajhumma and second time she was scolding him. It was within a few days and she left. Probably he is not her first love.

It is weird because Se Kyeong married a guy named On Ji Hwan which is the name of the leader of the band Eun Gyeol and Yi Chan had a jam session with. Her friend also said that name when she mentionned their divorce.

Is it the same guy? Maybe Se Kyeong said to her daughter she should have married her first love because she was drunk and her husband is not anymore the guy she once loved?

So far, that band leader is the only one she was close too calling him oppa.

Eun Gyeol called Se Kyeong an ajhumma and said he knew her dad. Weird things to hear. Also they had little interactions before she went abroad. I doubt it is him.

Ep7 was really fun especially the "looking for mom's first love part". She is completely missing the target. The twist in the end was unexpected but it opens the story to more exciting things. Can't wait for ep8!

I dropped the original and I am enjoying this one...

They will need to have the husband killed asap if they do not want to make ML and FL relationship look like some kind of cheating. Viewers will not like to see her and ML mingle in a way or another when she is still a married woman.

8 eps left. I barely see them fighting alongside as a power couple for the sake of their country. The way things are going, it is like they will acknowledge their true feelings just before the final battle. I agree with the reddit comment you quoted. It is like they could do great together but they think too high of themselves so they cannot welcome the other naturally.

Let's see of it unfolds but I sense the tragedy.

I did not watch the preview but I read the rumor in the comments. I like it. A Bellerophon needs a Chimera.
