I don't know if you watched Nirvana in Fire - but people recognized him and he didn't even have a scar lol. I still don't know how people recognized him. With Zang Hai - he sort of deliberately gave that information out to save his own skin. He knew his friend wouldn't kill him - but he also didn't want to say it outright just in case he was wrong and that wasn't his friend. So he made him see the scar on purpose to see if he recognized him or not.

It seemed like he was pretending lol. Dude just killed one of the people he wanted dead - probably doing his best to hide a smile at the time lol.

U could kind of tell with XZ's acting that he was changing methods with how JingPing reacted. He would go from being scared to standing upto him to back to being scared. And during all this he convinced JingPing that the people he knew for 20 years were incompetent and some new kid was more trustworthy.

Oh I agree. And because I have read and watched the lost tomb series it is interesting to see those copper fishes as well.

Every new episode we always getting new mysteries. I do hope we get some answers but it is kind of early - only 10 episodes. This slow release is killing me. I just need answers at this point - I am at a point where I think everyone is suspicious and I can make a case for everyone being a bad guy lol

Thank you. I know a lot of drama pages have haters and stuff. But it truly is tiring reading comments that have nothing to do with the drama. And clearly just people trying to rage bait.

I do agree that the masked man wanted to keep JingPing alive because he wants the secret artifact and he is the only one that can give information or even tell him where to find the other stuff. Because as of now we know it isnt that hard to get that copper fish out of JingPings residence. And he already knows aboit the 2nd one as well. Can steal that. So, I truly think he doesnt know who has the 3rd one. I think its the FLs mother - in the trailer it seemed like Zang Hai was trapping her in the tombs. But the trailer could also be manipulating us.

The masked man definitely wants the treasure but he making Zang Hai do all the work because I think he believes he can figure out the clues that.maybe his father left behind. Idk so.many theories lol

Ummm.. i mean we know there has to be someone in JingPings mansion that works for the masked man. But I feel the butler might not be it - but also could be lol. So many mysteries any idea could be true.

But the masked man definitslg has someone undercover in JingPings place. I just wonder who it is. But it does show that the masked man is powerful. Because a nobody wouldnt be able to get a spy into the house of the 2nd most powerful person in the empire. He must be someone with an official position or works for someone with a high position.

I am hoping the old friend is also good along with the martial arts master that is tagging along with him. Dude knows his secrets as well and Zang Hai knows nothing about him. Is he even an orphan?

This drama got me questioning everyone at this point.

Oh I know he was set up. But like the masked guy said - if Zang Hai was more calm he might have noticed it. Because the moment the masked guy mentioned it - it all started to click for him. But he let his emotions sway him. He wanted revenge so bad that he didn't notice those details.

Which was a great addition. That even smart people might not pick up on everything when they let their emotions take over. Mistakes will happen. Zang Hai is kind of learning on the job lol

Oh please let the master that is with him not betray him. I might flip a table if he also had motives especially since he really seems to care about Zang Hai. Everyone else I dont trust a single bit - even that new friend that appeared.

It made me 2nd guess myself and wonder who truly was the villain of the story lol. Like umm maybe he the one behind the mask - idk how that is even possible lol but he giving off villain vibes with that laugh.

Umm. I think the emperor is kind of scared of PingJing. Like have u noticed that everytime PingJing needs something the emperor gives out a decree stating exaxtly what he wanted. Lile making Zang Hai a sacrifice - the emperor decreed it. I wouldnt be surprised if the emperor is dojng what he is told while secretely trying to overthrow PingJing.

I think the masked man didnt know about the massacre was going to happen but went there just to help them escape. But who really knows. Kind of hard to say. The masked man got any questions around him.

It makes sense though right? I mean we are humans - I know he trained for years to get revenge but the wall u build will always have a crack. So, of course he will show signs. I thought that was great of them to show. That he isnt this robot that lost all his emotions.

He is going to make mistakes due to his emotions and I find thst realistic. Like we can plan all we want but at the end there will be factors that sway the results.

I think it is pretty obvious that the masked man is someone with influence. Maybe he is related to the emperor.

Because Zang Hai put the trap in the incense burner at like 3 and he stated in 2 hours it was gone. So, someone in that mansion must be a spy for the masked man. And only someone with absolute power could put a spy in the mansion of the 2nd most powerful man of the empire. And I feel the only person who could do that is the Number 1 most powerful man of the empire. The masked man is definitely doing a lot behind the scenes - and he also seems to be ahead of even Zang Hai.

YES. By episode 10 - it just gets even crazier. At this point everyone just playing 3D chess

A good theory. I feel like it might be correct too - he did say there are 3 people behind his parents death but he coincidentaly doesn't know the 3rd person. Ummmm.

But I also think he has nothing to do with the parents death - and is honestly helping Zang Hai but only to make sure he can get the treasure from him. He might just be a separate party entirely that just wants the power for himself. A lot of stuff to think about
