Soo : After YZ leaves , the town gets attacked by the rebel prince's younger son / basically Qi Min's adopted brother - in the novel Changyu the absolute queen that she is literally kicks his ass and face in and does really cool strategizing all on her own ,but that Sun brat besides the war plans ,wants revenge against her , literally incites the local bandits to attack the twon and the thing is is he obsessed with Xie Zheng and when he sees their family drawing ,he kidnaps Changning cause he thinks she's the Marquis daughter , long story short while Changyu is breaking down any child trafficking and bandit lair she comes across ,Xie Zheng gets the ransom note with Ninger's whistle thingy ,he draws out the crazy Sui guy who literally brings an asthmatic child into a bloody battlefield and our Marquis saves his little sister-in-law when that crazy brat realizes she isn't actually his daughter and throws her off a freaking running warhorse ,he gets his just deserts, but XZ gets injured and then Changyu finally finds her hubby all bloody and weak and tells him to " leave army ,I'll buther the pigs and support you for life " which gets half the army so jealous they can't wait for her weak hubby to die so they could get their chance at such devotion..they wish 🤣🤣🤣 anf I think that's everything, in the extra chapters we learn that Baoer ( who got jealous when he learned that Gongsun Yan actually brushed and fixed Ning's hair - that little vinegar jar 🤣🤣 ) kinda marries her ,cause there's this old master grandpa who divines that Ninger will be protected the first half of her life with two powerful noblle forces that helps her grow stong healthy and beautiful and then has her own fate " noblest of fates upon a face of such beauty and grace " 👑 😉🫡😋
