What I actually appreciate more is how they both realize that they are falling for each othe r,cause in the novel it took tome for both of them to fully sink in..but man was it a deliciously angsty and hawt slide down 🤣🤣

Well considering the drama storyline, this is not much of a spoiler but this was my favorite Gongsun Yan moment in the novel when Fan Changy literally is a legendary strong woman in the soldiers' eyes after she fought with a bear , gutted a pig and fought off enemy soldiers:
