no it's not about his inability to feel emotions, which she accepts him fully for, it's about his Avoidant attachment…
The avoidment attachment issue stems from his ptsd, and shares the same roots as his emotional issues. He made massive leaps for her, but she suddenly decided it wasnt enough. If she was truly loving herself more, she would have clearly cut ties, instead she kept up with the push/pull on him. And the moment he failed to do exactly what she wanted, she drop kicked him again. From the moment of the birthday party issue, she stopped being able to understand him. That kind of over reaction doesn't come out of nowhere and she should have been the one to apologise for basically smashing his own personal trigger warning in his face. She never truly dumped him, she just stabbed him in the heart a lot and expected him to keep coming back. Which he did cause he'd imprinted on like a baby duck.
After ep 17, it felt like the FL dumped half her IQ points and any sense of real compassion when she started insisting ML act like a normal person... Currently at ep 21, and about 80%of her angst is self created! She knows who he is and the issues she has, but she can't seem to help demanding *he* act the way she wants him too....Am I meant to feel pity for all the wallowing in self pity she's currently doing??? 😶😑😑🙄 All the other characters are acting consistently, it's just the FL who's suddenly acting like a petulant child.
I love that! And it's the most wholesome ending scene I've seen in a while!!! Everything was deserved, everyone was happy, and we had some real life parent child interactions!!! "Mum, Dad, wake up and play with me NAOE!!!!"🤣🥰🤣
Was this filmed a few years ago??? It feels more than a little clunky, with some of the dialogue and all the exposition, not to mention everyone being dubbed again...I'm enjoying it so far, but it just feels a little off, if it was filmed recently.
Really not worth it unless you are a die hard fan of the actors...and be ready for it to leave a bad taste in your mouth if rational and coherent plots are your thing... Honestly, the cast deserved FAR better!!!!
And it was not only him they killed. The last episode was disappointing. Chinese dramas this year seem to really…
At least Fangs told you from the beginning what was gonna happen. The warning signs were all there, in 6 ft high red neon!!! That gave you so much relationship sugar, precisely because they knew they were going to rip your heart out later...Fangs hurt, but it didn't leave a bad taste in your mouth the way this one did...
This ....This was just a waste of so many characters. Zhuge, I can "kinda" work it, since it was theoretically for a reason, buuuuUuuuuut also I'm really sure there were other ways to pass that info on, that didn't involve risking also Jinglans life to retrieve his body. Like where were all the fucking messenger pigeons/falcons/Eagles that are all over EVERY other drama?!?!?!?! This just feels like the writers ran out of idea's and totally phoned the last 10 eps in... possibly after a week long bender on some seriously hard drugs too....
it started off as a strong 8but 3 Male leadsincomplete storiesuseless side stories suffering until the end only…
I can't argue...I'm also spitting because yet another divorced woman dies for no damn reason!!!! Oooh being the Hero, putting her life on the line for others, but NO! JingLan should have taken his *ENTIRE* troupe of jianghu buddies in with him, yet suddenly he was all alone??? Not to mention, Bai wangzi, got off easy! JC's lovely acting and face cannot save the fact that that character was a shallow, self centred spoilt PoS. All the times he rescued JingJing, was from situations HE had created!!!!! And that stupid woman kept what, feeling sorry for him? She dropped kicked Zhao with less effort, but she kept believing Bai's bullshit??? I can't remember Niu Jin's death because I was FF'ing thru it by that point. Ling Long died a needless death, and I was over it all! Honestly all the fluff at the end felt...meaningless. It was far too light hearted and fluffy compared to the misery and death they had all just survived!!!!
I follow this on Douban myself, most of the ratings are from day 1 of airing this drama, from fans of DC, they…
Really smacks of rabid Xiao Zhan fans hate bombing the scores because he wasn't recast....The same writer as Joy of Life, Snow Sword Stride & Douluo Continent wrote this. It's a live adaption, so it's got a certain amount of cheese, but it's a phenomally solid plot and of course the writing and dialogue are excellent. They don't take themselves too seriously, and it's a fun ride. There's no reason for such a low score, so I really hope it picks up. This deserves a another season!
I lasted until the introduction of the mermaid in the first ep, then Noped the fuck out! I'm not that strong, and I can't take WYS seriously in that wig!!!!
The tropes which are played for *really cheap* laughs in the first half of the show, fall *very* flat when everything turns super serious in the later half...
I swear the leads got more stupid as each ep dragged on. FL was never super bright, but somewhere around ep 16 what was left of her brains appeared to have completely deserted her. The ML was meant to be somewhat competent, but he also seems to have lost all his smarts, along with the plot and turned into a love obsessed idiot. The only one who keeps thinking is the vicious 2FL GTB...but even then her brains are handicapped by the ML blinkers she has on....I've been watching on 1.5 speed since ep 17 and it's still going too slowly....Sa Geum Ran was a naive sweetie with zero self esteem but a big heart...Sara no longer has any excuse for being that naive. Esp when it's endangering the person she supposedly cares about the most....
This was ongoing on his social media for several years. I doubt it was made up since the stalker posted on his…
If you can't consider mental health issues as real issues, then the one who is a child is you. Anyone can be lonely, anyone can have issues, anyone can find life too overwhelming, and your kind of attitude is precisely the kind that makes things worse. The feeling of constantly being under scrutiny is tough for normal artists, let alone having the added burden of an obsessive stalker who's destroying even the small amount of privacy a person needs to breathe.
It's a good drama, but personally. I feel they didn't handle the romance between the protagonists well. They had…
It felt pretty true to both their characters. Both leads were cool, calm, collected individuals. They're not the super passionate, fiery types. I admit I would have liked at least one or two more searing kisses, but in the end the scenes they all showed still felt very satisfying.
All the other characters are acting consistently, it's just the FL who's suddenly acting like a petulant child.
