That was such a nonsense scandal. There's so many people that do worse like Kim soo Hyun and he wasn't kicked out of his new drama and they even added him to the trailers after it was released. But there's people that have their career ruined over rumours. It's interesting how the industry reacts to different people. It seems like they don't want to add him to their dramas in fear of public opinion but he's a decent actor and he's great at comedy
It's probably because KBS is government owned but i don't understand why kdramas have to end everything with justice. In real life it doesn't always go like that. It would be fine if they ended it with them getting away with it but they just had to include that plot. Murim's MIL coming back to visit her in jail was so unrealistic too. irl murim seems like the type of person to cut them off after that. It's not bad and the episodes were interesting and there were some funny scenes here and there. It's a nice background show to put on. I just didn't like the last 3 or 5 episodes
They ruined his character in squid games. I'm not mad that it took him that long to find the island but if they were going to do it like that they should've cut down their screen time. It took up quite a bit of the episodes and felt like filler scenes, the only person that made it interesting was Mr choi
Daeho deserved a redemption arc at least a little bit they really destroyed his character imo
gihun should’ve blamed himself. After the bloodbath from S2 there were more players that voted to leave. If they waited it out they could’ve voted and all left. Because he decided to start a coup things didn’t go as planned.
The truly unbelievable part of squid games was the 4 idiots that were the VIPs
You’d think for a Netflix show with such high production fees, they would hire people that could act instead of random English teachers in Korea with no acting experience. The acting was so bad and cringe
I understand why they did what they did and the symbolism but why didn’t they show us the frontman’s backstory? Or how the games came to be? How he got chosen? Why he left his family? The latter half was heavily focused on the psychological themes and how society is. I did like it and it was very predictable but many of us wanted answers. The whole point of gihun going back was to get answers and to stop the game.
I was wondering why they were talking about gender but after watching the previous season it made sense with how the results depended on who they sided with for the eliminations. They made a lot of improvements this seasons and all the games were interesting.
I watched season 2 first but the games here were very underwhelming. It was interesting to watch but there was more about psychological strategies and alliances rather than using their brains. They needed more 1v1 games where its totally dependent on your intelligence rather than working as a team
Seo Hyun was by far the worst contestant for this show. Not voting for certain people bc of promises made prior…
She was such a hypocrite. She didn't want to vote *** out because she liked him but it was ok for her to join the alliance and vote YS out. She reminded me of Sohee from devils plan in that scene
The romance was boring however, the medical aspect was interesting it did lack the depth that hospital playlist had but it got better in the later episodes.
The only love line that made sense was sabi and jaeil it seemed like they had a slow build up and you could feel their attraction growing. GYJ and the male lead didnt have much chemistry, it felt so rushed and random imo and so did the last relationship they hinted at
he looks like a promising actor ngl hes rly cute lol, tho im surprised at him having 4 dramas in a row wow?
i think he has some connections. It's rare for new actors to have that many main roles in big drama productions unless they're an idol or their first role was a huge success.
I was confused as to why Sohee fumbled the bag like that. She had a few chances to win but she seemed indifferent. But Hyungyu, Eunyu and Harin had this fighting spirit and it was really interesting watching them play.
