Harumichi giving up so easily was so strange and it seemed out of character. The way he was written gave us the impression that he wouldn't have given up if he got a second chance to be with Yae. I thought Yae would be the one to walk away or set boundaries. This was the only part i didn't like of the show, it was the height of the show and it all came crashing down so their reunion was anti climatic and cliche. I was bummed out that the mother didn't apologise for her words or at least try to resolve the misunderstanding but it was realistic because we don't always get closure irl. It just irked me when she meddled and prevented Harumichi from seeing her but blamed Yae for her marriage not working out. When she was defending her mother from being looked down upon her mother chose to blame her. She tried to put the cheating aside for her son but being looked down upon, and the husband not taking her side was the last straw. They made her feel so alone and out of place so i expected the mother to be a bit more understanding. But anyway i'm glad she got her happy ending

I loved the flashback scenes and cute moments of fleeting youth. I dropped it when it came out because i found it boring but i picked it up again and binged watched it in a day. It's quite slow paced, anti climatic and there are some frustrating moments but i loved the way they portrayed first love. The hikaru Utada songs used were perfect, some of the scenes reminded me of the 1995 movie love letter. I just wished they showed a full episode of them getting back together.

For a first episode i found the storyline quite lacking maybe it'll get better but it's not interesting enough for me to continue. The nudity didn't phase me lol. i was expecting something crazy with the way people were reacting

yeah many korean historical movies contain nudity. It's the first time i'm seeing it in a drama though

The plot sounds good so i wanted to watch it but i can tell what type of show it is from this review and i won't be watching lol.

You can pretty much predict how the story line will go down and I think they took inspiration from planet of the apes but the dog version. They kept hinting that the mother dog would somehow help them but it didn't happen. The ending did however give a possible leeway for a second movie where they would show that i'm not sure after the lead actors death. Rest in peace LSK

maybe not open ending but we didn't get clarification on where sihyeon was buried or how she murdered him

You'd think they wrote and directed the show lol they take it so personally. Everyone has their own preferences, but some people can't understand that.

It was meh. i was hoping for more answers as we progress through the episodes but it was an open ending and i don't enjoy them. The cinematography and lighting were really good though. Every scene was beautifully shot and carefully thought of even the colour of the clothings etc.

This season didn’t give off that transit love/exchange love vibe. It felt like a different show. I think the producers didn’t let them pick their exes for dates until the end because they knew they were hung up over their exes and wanted to make it more interesting. Had they let them pick their exes we would’ve had so many couples like heedu and nayeon lol. But I hope they don’t do that next season because it defeats the whole purpose of the show. They’re supposed to have the choice between a new person or their ex.

This is my least favourite season. Maybe it’s because almost all of the couples broke up less than six months ago. The outcome with most of the couples was expected I just didn’t expect dongjin and dahye to get back together irl
