The first 6 or so episodes had me HOOKED but i lost that excitement by the end. It's a shame

This was such a good drama until the end. This should have ended at around episode 8/9 when they first caught the guy. I loved the pacing initially and it was similar to queen of tears until the latter episodes. It should be renamed to When she gets kidnapped. It started off so well but It turned into those makjang dramas with ridiculous plot twists.. The screenwriter has some great dramas in her filmography but i looked at the directors and it all made sense. I don't agree with the way they portrayed the palitima thing, but if they wanted to include their weird political agenda, i'd expect them to do it in a way that made sense. I was laughing so hard when they were arguing in the middle of an active warzone because WHAT was that. It literally felt like the last two/three episodes were written by someone else and they were trying so hard to meet that 12 episode mark because they had nothing else to write about.

The whole season felt like one filler episode spread out over 7 episodes. They should’ve released it with more episodes instead of PT1 and PT2

I love the cinematography and pacing in this. The had so much onscreen chemistry

I would’ve enjoyed this better if I watched it knowing this was part 1

it ended on a perfect note and there’s no need for a S2 they’re probably following the webtoon

I really liked that they didn’t immediately make him good at fighting after a few episodes. I loved the character development of the ML. And the bullying was somewhat realistic for that time.

ikr! Their success rate used to be so high, but too many participants now seem more focused on promoting themselves or their business. The show is much more genuine than most dating shows, but it’s losing the natural charm from earlier seasons. They’re more aware of the cameras and try to look good. But with how Knetz grill them on forums and YouTube, even digging up personal information if they slip up, I’m not surprised. The show is entertaining nonetheless that’s why I’m still watching lol

I think the production team wants drama because their casting is not as good as it used to be. For example, a season where the guys all want younger women and they put them with older women or divorced singles when they put people with no kids and ones with kids together. They keep talking about breaking their values/preconceived notions, but it's not happening.

His acting was good in record of youth and Reply 1988 but i understand what u mean because his acting style is very similar in most of the roles. We'll see anyway.. he's taken a break from the small screen so maybe he's improved

You misunderstood me. I didn’t say 40 is old. There’s times when people are about to approach milestones like 30, 40 or 50 years old and they feel depressed if they haven’t met their goals or life isn’t what they expected it to be by that time. It’s a real issue, and I can share studies about it if you’d like🤷‍♀️

I really liked him as an actor and his segment on WGM with Kim soeun is one of my comfort shows that I rewatch a lot. I don’t know him personally but I never saw this coming. He was soon to turn 40 so I wonder if that could’ve influenced it? It’s not confirmed if it was suicide but he left behind a 2 page letter. May he rest in peace
