Why is it that there are a lot of celebrities in SK that are involve in bullying? Is this really a normal thing…
I could be speaking out of my a$$ but I think it’s because they fit the beauty standards and end up becoming the popular student like it is in most places. Usually bullies are the “popular” kids so they either participate in the bullying or guilty by association like soojin. Bullies in general tend to be good looking, social and confident which means they’re more likely to find success. They’re selfish and they don’t care about others, so they’ll backstab others for a promotion or to get the role. In Korea if you’re good looking people around you will tell you to become an actor or idol. So they rebrand as this kind and innocent person and start their career
the story lines were a little different but everyone just made up with each other in the end. It was very anti climatic. I think it’s because I watched the drama version first
the script and directing was so good in the beginning, It reminded me of save me with that eerie cult like atmosphere until it became like every other drama. A small part of me was hoping we'd get a major plot twist like jaeun being behind the game in the beginning or another person being the actual leader. It did have good cliff hangers and i liked the character development even though that wouldn't have happened irl
As an American, I can say with conviction that sequels generally ruin whatever excellence a production formerly…
I have hope that it’ll be good as there’s so much things to include and so many ways it could go. I find unnecessary sequels bad but this is totally necessary because it ended on a cliff hanger and there’s the time travel element. There’s so many routes they can take with the plot.
Netflix has such good promotions for their shows compared to local Korean broadcast stations or OTT sites. They start promoting their shows months in advance to build that anticipation
