BBS is the most excellent hybrid of romcom-dramedy that wears gayness on its sleeve unashamedly imho. Was the plot very innovative? Did it reinvent the wheel when it comes to the story line? Nope & nope. Was it really crucial to its success? Not in P’Aof’s capable hands. I think he had a vision and stuck to it firmly. Look back to any rom-com, or even any drama, that you may have seen on any screen or in the books… It is rehashing same stories over, and over again… Happy or tragic love stories, rivalries, family issues and dynamics, betrayal, friendships, promises broken or maintained. We have seen it all in all flavours. But we still come back to enjoy them. This is like complaining that there is flour in almost everyting (except for those gluten-intolerant). It is up to the cook whether to turn this flour in a dud, or in a tasty dish.
In the end, I think everybody who’s been involved in making BBS come to life shall be extremely pleased. The overall feedback is simply extraordinary. It is enough to check tweets, yt comments coming fast and furious… It will make you feel happy
However, detractors are welcome. It would be really suspicious if everybody loved it…

Epi. 12 was the finale we all deserved. The second half was a madcap riot!
There are so many little touches I loved...
PatPran returning to the eco village to take pics with Uncle Tong and Junior in their graduation garb...
...Pran being free to be goofy... the airport drop-off scene and the fetish gift to Pat had me in stiches...
...I get the parents... Adults may be too proud to admit they were/are wrong, but BBS shows at least a small change of heart... The non-bickering parents being maybe silent shippers.
I am elated!

Guys! The frisky chaotic final scene is on a frikkin' ROOFTOP!!! (their apartment looks like is at sub-penthouse or penthouse level)
The arc is COMPLETE. We've been dragged to the rooftop and never left the place ever since (and we wanna stay for the "show"... we are little perverts, aren't we.. 😉)

This is the ending fluff everybody needed. We were on such a rollercoaster of emotions. I don't think we would survive more of the anxiety that we have been served already. Everybody involved did a stellar job. However, the shinest stars of the firmament are P'Aof and OhmNanon! What a ride it was... A big grin on my face... This is what we all need nowadays

I cannot believe it.. I was so anxious I woke up to watch the series five minutes prior without the alarm clock. My heart can be at ease now.

Infatti, i brasiliani hanno invaso i social media dappertutto. Chi se ne avesse aspettato qualche mese fa. Ma questa è la forza dell'Arte con la A maiuscola!
