Yfs can't kill huai'an because only huai'an knows where the deposed emperor is. Also i think yfs saying not to touch the grave was just a mean to make sure huai'an comes back to chang'an. I'm thinking everything happened too sudden and huai'an couldn't get her body out of the city so he buried her in that courtyard. Her body being there will eventually lead him back.

Ok I have to go back and do a rewatch of all the episodes that aired. This is one drama that you absolutely cannot skip any dialogue. Everything being said is important. You have to listen to the dialogue and read between the lines or you will miss important details.

At first it appears that Guyu and Hanziling are helping the new emperor, but based on ep 10, Han ziling originally wanted to save xiao wenjing. So Hanziling and Guyu don't appear to be on the new Emperor's side either? It seems like Guyu recommending Han ziling was just part of the plan. That would give Chancellor Gao the opportunity to recommended Huaian and lessen the Emperor's suspicion.

No, this drama is not BL. This one is soley brotherhood, friendships, and bonds just like the source novel. Just like old fashion wuxia. Not the toned down BL that are common nowadays.

I think i saw some people comment on how it looks like outdated cinematography. But honestly I love this realistic approach. Remind me of the good old days when the cinematography relied on utilizing the actual surroundings and set to capture the beauty of a place rather than relying heavily on Cgi. Reminds me of the good old wuxia and historical movies back in the 90's and early 00's. A nostalgia feeling of watching these kind of dramas with my father.

Why does the filming and post production for this drama seem rushed to me. It makes me very worry about the quality.
