I bet he's the son of physician Kwon, who's actually the son of the previous queen. It would be quite ironic.

My guess for the ending of the story: the king, the queen dowager, the physician Kwon, the douchebag prince, the stupid politician with the weird moustache and the concubine/consort (don't know her name and I don't bother) all die. The crown prince and the crown princess get enthroned, and becomes Queen and King. They have a daughter but no son, and it's the son of the previous Crown Prince who will eventually becomes king.

Yeah, hence why I prefer the original story, even though the drama is pretty good too.

I'm talking about the ratings on MDL, it used to be 8.7, then 8.5 and finally 8.2. Glad to know lots of people watch this show, it deserves it.

Yeah it got completely difficult to understand, it was better explained and done with in the original story.

I'm surprised, I didn't expect much of the love interest but episode 5 made me grow on her unexpectedly. With all those shark people obsessed with money, just having a sweet girl who works and is helpful, brings some fresh air from all of this heavy scheming.

Kudos to Lee Sung Min too, whose acting really carried the whole episode. The way he carried himself, his speech, his stares. His acting is absolutely amazing. I am so impressed. Him and SJK have such an amazing chemistry. The ratings dropped but the story keeps being amazing, I don't think it's a drama for everyone. It's either if you like to work your brain on their investment talk or not. Not for everyone at all. The second FL's appearance will probably make the next episodes more romance oriented, hopefully not that much, because romantic plots tend to get boring after some time.

In the original story, the ML was quite protective of his new mother, I miss their relationship seriously.

They are too much in love with money to care about that I guess lol. Money is their mistress for all of them.

She's good looking, she's got a mature look, very woman actually.

Exactly, hence why I don't really bother about her. She's just there to be the love interest of the ML, so that people will know he's still got some love life besides spending his entire time on investing money.
The talks about investments are much more interesting. Loving it!

Lee Sung Min playing again in a drama that talks about the 1997 crisis lol. We are in for a ride now! Can 't wait episodes 5 and 6.

Maybe the article is just badly explained. From what I gather he got paid but not entirely from what he should have been paid. They lied about the profits from music so he wouldn't be paid for those entire profits. Maybe it was partially. It would be like you work for a company and get paid $ 2k when you should have $5k.

I'm here for the grandpa-grandson dynamics. The drama is clearly different from the original story. The ML completely forgot his former family and bonded a lot with his gramps. Actually all the family members are supposed to be nasty excluding ML's parents, brother and grandpa.

I don't know what to think about the romance. There's supposed to be one but it's so secondary in the original story while the drama seems to focus on it more.
The FL doesn't bother me at all but the way of acting during the scene in which she was upset about HOT disbanding could have been better. But I love her clothing. This is so 90's. The scene in the library was typical from a 90's romance movie. Loved it!

Yeah I noticed that. The drama is different. I don't know how things will unfold. The FL in the novel was practically nonexistent btw. The ML main love was money lol

I agree, I nearly wished that the drama would just star the child actor instead. In the webtoon, the Ml became a boss when he was a kid. It was funny to have him act cute then bossing a bunch of adults around.

Actually in the webtoon and novel, when the Ml got reborn, he no longer existed in this lifetime. Instead, his previous parents now have a daughter instead of him. In the drama, it seems unclear. I actually prefer the webtoon.

Watching Lee Sung Min again in a drama that talks about money and finances is a real good surprise. I love his acting.
I'm a bit doubtful about Song Joong Ki being casted as the ML, he is a good actor but I wonder.
Idc that much about the Fl. It's a drama centered around the Ml. The Fl is secondary.
I love it when you have to guess who is the killer in the drama. The family members are all suspicious and very snaky.

Bro, I waited nearly 2 years for this series, read the whole webtoon, they better have made a good plot for all the waiting.

Spoilers the main characters are all supposed to be badass in their own way.
The FL is a sassy rich girl who gets her way with people by buying them with her money. She's got great detective skills.
The Ml is a crazy psycho who's got amazing abilities to kill monsters but he's a psycho.
Eun Woo is supposed to be a young priest who is a bit goofy but turns serious when he has to fight. He also has powers.

I never tried watching Love alarm, I always get a bad feeling from the synopsis. Hwarang was badly directed imo and a waste of the actors's talent. You still can watch it if you want.
