I knew In Joo wouldn't be able to keep the money at all. It's stolen money, dirty money. What she had done was a crime, even though she's a protagonist, it's still necessary for her to pay for what she had done.
The only money the three sisters will get from will be from the great aunt who planned something before her death. The great aunt knew she would die soon, and she planned something with her investment.
Sang A is really the witch queen from Snow White lol, she gave an apple to PJS before killing him. She's the real deal.
PSJ was just a villain fodder.
Hyo Rin and In Hye have finally eloped together, nice to know.
Choi Do Il and his dad slay as usual.
It was so predictable that SangA's brother would actually film his meeting with PJS. A real underestimated MVP, he died in order to reveal the truth. I hope his sacrifice won't be worthless.
In Kyung is still clearly a Gryffindor. At least she's surrounded by ressourceful people.
And you think you are so cool calling people that you don't know miserable just bcz they drop this drama?Grow…
I agree, there's no reason to insult other people. Everyone has different taste. When I like a drama, I don't insult other people who dropped it. Same when I dislike a drama, I don't insult people who like it and kept watching it.
But the aunt said it will happen in soome 10-20 years, what is going to happen to the interest rate to that debt.…
That's an interesting intake. The time scale in the drama doesn't seem to be about months but days and weeks, so as for now the monthly interest is yet to come. The great aunt has still some money left that could pay for a few monthly interest, but if we talk about years obviously In Kyung will have to declare bankrupt.
Then about the lands, who knows which ones the great aunt bought? She thought those lands would become gold in a few years which could probably be that those lands aren't directly linked to PSJ's project as a mayor but indirectly linked to that project.
PSJ is only useful as a mayor to give permits for companies to invest in the land and build new buildings or other things that could create lots of money. But what if the investment he agreed on with other people actually fail because of issues they have not foreseen in the lands?
What if in the end, it's the lands that the great aunt bought that will actually be the ones to invest in immediatly? And what if the great aunt actually had foreseen those issues and thought it would be her lands which would be worth more instead? That would explain why she thought those lands will be gold in a few years and not immediatly. Maybe she thought those issues would be discovered later on and not immediatly. If she had bought lands directly linked to the project of PSJ becoming mayor, she would have probably said those lands will become gold rather soon, but instead she said in a few years. Which means that she had foreseen something that none had.
All of this is pure theory. Like any dramas, this drama emphasizes a lot about lands speculation. One can speculate but fail at it while the other will win.
But actually it's pretty obvious that even though it talks a lot about finances and investments, it's so lightly explained that I don't think it's the expertise of the writer. When the Bobae bank case embezzlment was explained in episode 2 or 3, there were many holes in the explanation. There was a drama I watched that explained the Korean financial crisis in 1997, I don't remember the name, but the financial matters were better explained.
I don't know if my answer was clear to understand but you have an interesting intake.
But the aunt said it will happen in soome 10-20 years, what is going to happen to the interest rate to that debt.…
She's likely unaware that it's gonna happen sooner than later. The last episode dropped the hints about permits and why it's so important for PSJ to become mayor.
I'm pretty sure that the debt that In Kyung inherited from her great aunt will turn into profits. The great aunt indebted herself by buying lots of buildings and lands that weren't worth much, but she said those lands will turn into gold later on. There's a hint that it will happen when PJS took In Hye to the rooftop to show her buildings that will disappear to turn into bigger buildings. He says that in a few days, something big will happen.
In this drama, the great aunt is like the fairy godmother figure for the sisters. What she does is solve the problems at the end. In Kyung will inherited lots of money at the end. The debt will turn into money like magic.
It's a cliffhanger to make us watch the next episode. The director of this drama is the same that directed Vincenzo,…
I agree. Vincenzo started to be easy to guess after some time. It's still a good drama but the last episode made Vincenzo a bit out of character for a convenient plot twist. The villain became ridiculous in the end. Still an epic drama with an amazing ost.
what's with these characters always pointing their gun but never shot smh.
It's a cliffhanger to make us watch the next episode. The director of this drama is the same that directed Vincenzo, and Vincenzo's episodes were full of cliffhangers. That's how people got so hooked up by the drama, you want to watch the next episode again and again.
In Kyung is a mix of Harry Potter and Ron Weasley. She acts like a Gryffindor, comes from a poor family like Ronald Weasley and gets jealous of rich people like him, and she got betrayed by her father figure aka her boss just like Harry Potter with Albus too many names Dumbledore.
In Joo is still Snow White, but the Snow White from Shrek now.
Choi Do Il and his dad are the hunters from a fairy tale in the drama.
Hyo Rin and In Hye are like Gretel and Hansel who are captured by the witch, with In Hye being Hansel and being put in the cage by the wicked witch to be eaten while Hyo Rin is Gretel who works for the witch but she's gonna betray the witch and save Hansel at the end.
Sang A is the wicked witch queen. Her dad is Blue Beard who beated his wife and killed her in a secret room. Her brother is the good guy who's gonna die.
Park Jae Sang is Joo Dan Tae
And Jong Ho is friendzoned. He's got 89% chance to die btw. Same for Choi Do Il's dad.
For whatever they're worth, it's my 2 cents on Episodes 7 and 8.https://40somethingahjumma.substack.com/p/little-women-2022-episodes-7-andThanks…
I read your analysis, it was interesting. I also had the same opinion about some characters I didn't think much about Ariadne but this explains quite a lot.
The truth is In Joo and In Kyung are dumb, even In Hye sometimes. It's not a critic, not an insult, it's just…
The whole story is written like a fairy tale actually. Three sisters (number 3 is important in a fairy tale) living in a poor environment, the parents are absent and aweful. There's an evil rich lady (aka a queen) who is the main villain. And there's a weird flower that seems to make some magic with its hallucinogens abilities.
And even though the sisters are naive, dumb ( just like the heroines in a fairy tale), there are characters ( Choi Do Il and his father) that act like the hunter or Prince charming to help them. And they are surrounded by luck, no matter how many problems they face, sheer luck helps them, just like a fairy tale.
The writer clearly got her inspiration from the book Little Women but also from the fairy tale tropes to write the whole scenario.
Though the episode was thrilling...again, it showed how naive In Joo is.....AGAINWhat would have happened if Do…
The truth is In Joo and In Kyung are dumb, even In Hye sometimes. It's not a critic, not an insult, it's just a fact. The whole truth.
They are dumb, and like dumb people, they will make so many mistakes any person with a bit of brain wouldn't make that it makes us scratch our heads to understand. It takes time to make peace with that fact. And be careful with your blood pressure. I had to avoid so many cardiac arrests because of them.
I know clever people, pretty ressourceful, but also dumb people. And dumb people are hard to understand. No one in their right mind would rush to drink a glass filled with some blue liquid that looks like some dishwashing liquid. Any sane person would think it's some kind of poison. Now I'm watching it and expecting those sisters to make mistakes upon mistakes until they finally manage to learn something. The plot is good, the acting is great, the villains are psychos and the protagonists are dumb. That's why the psycho Sang A liked In Joo so much, she knew that girl was pretty dumb and she wanted to make fun of her, by playing with her. The thing is because she thought In Joo was plainly dumb, she underestimated In Joo and her abitility to attract sheer luck and smart ressourceful guys such as Choi Do Il. Hence why I always compare In Joo with Snow White because in the fairy tale, she got tricked so many times by the evil queen to get poisoned, trusting them like an idiot, but thanks to the dwarves and Prince charming ( Choi Do Il), the evil queen aka Sang A got the punishment she deserved.
The only money the three sisters will get from will be from the great aunt who planned something before her death. The great aunt knew she would die soon, and she planned something with her investment.
