Him being violent before his friend's murder, then when he gave death threats to the guy who took pictures of him, nearly killing him. That scene on the roof could have turned badly if the FL hadn't intervened. Have you ever been in deathly situation where a mental ill person goes through a big crisis and start to attack everyone around them? Bc I have. If you have mental health issues, take the pills, go through therapy bc when you lash out, you can be a danger to everyone else, and to yourself as well. I was nice talking about mood swings, I could have said worse. Now don't go call people's name bc you don't like their point of view. I know people who survived civil wars and worse things than that irl. This is a drama, a fictive story. Did I say I dislike the ML? The FL protects him all the time, buys him stuff, nurse him. She's babysitting him

I knew about Glory, I watched it. The thing the ML lets himself being hit as though it was normal. And you often see those kind of stuff in dramas. Quite true, this violence is done irl, which is even more horryfying.

One thing that's often seen in kdramas and not often talked about is how violence is treated as something normal. The coach beating the ML because he scored instead of the other one.

They should change the drama title to "How to babysit your idol". Dude has such big mood swings all the time. I think I'll wait a little bit maybe when the final episode is released to finish it, gotta find out who the murderer is. I like the FL, I think she's good.

Just a simple edit since I have agressive people coming at me as though they know everything in this world. You do know that "mood swings" ,as I got verbally harassed bc of those 2 words, can be symptoms of different diseases (physical or mental or even both) and used to describe how stable the person is at the moment? It's often seen with depression or bipolar disorder, or schizophrenia. People are given meds that are taken regularly to stabilize their condition. And when they show " mood swings", a change in behavior as I call it, that can either be mild, average or highly dangerous, then you have to take a look if they regularly take their meds. Someone untreated can end up have their condition worsen, end up in a psychotic episode and do something dangerous against others or themselves. This is shown in this drama when the ML either endangers himself, shown violence even before his friend's death, or start attacking someone to the point of nearly killing them on that roof scene.
It doesn't matter if that photograph was not a good person, I will never caution attempted murder. Or maybe all those people here who harassed me caution it?
It's quite funny to have someone calling me "insane" while at the same time defending a character who has a mental illness. I guess that means they imply that the ML character is insane too? You do know mental ill people often get called "insane" in a discriminatory way? And that those diseases can be considered as a disability?
Where am I wrong talking about a ML who has dangerous mood swings, to the point he endangers himself or others, needing constantly the FL or her friend to intervene? It's part of his symptoms, it was shown in the drama. Irl you'll often see sick people with a caretaker. Fl is not on the level of being a caretaker imo, more like a babysitter in my point of view. The ML should be fed meds, it's unrealistic how his so called sickness is treated in this drama. Most kdramas don't even know how to show someone sick anyway. A real lawyer would have made sure he gets medical treatment for his case. Oh by the way I haven't even finished the last episodes yet, thanks for the spoilers.
And to the people who get on their high horses without opening a real discussion with the person concerned but instead enjoy talking behind their backs. You are quite the funniest ones.

I don't know him for years but I honestly thought that looking at him during the show and the interviews, I met people in the spectrum, he's like them. It's ok to be in the spectrum, people think outside the box, may be awkward in social situations but are soft hearted.

I can't wait for Humint with Zo In Sung. Great acting will come.

I kinda understand your comment, I'm not Indian, but I got Indian friends from different regions, northern India and Southern India. I know traditions and cultures can be different depending on the regions. The fact that he justifies eating with your hands is something that Indians do may have been a too general saying.
In some cultures it's common to eat with your hands, in some countries in Africa, hell even in a Mcdo's they eat with hands. In France, you eat your bread with your hands during breakfast, we put jam or butter on the bread with some hot chocolate, and dip the bread in the hot chocolate.

But there are rules linked to that kind of eating, some don't eat with their left hand. The right hand is always kept clean.

I gather he's not a person who thinks deeply, he's more a person who will just say and do things that go right through his head without thinking about the consequences of it. And that may offend people because it would look like he's inconsiderate and just sprouts up lots of stereoptypes.
I think he's just a clumsy guy who's not a deep thinker. Dude spent the entire show regretting his ideas. Don't take what he says or does too seriously because I think he doesn't intend to be mean. He's just awkward.

I'm currently watching the show, I'm at episode 5. It's good but honestly, my mind can't help thinking I would have never designed stuff like that. The climbing stuff is funny, but I think it excludes people who have disability or who are too sick to do straining activities.
They could have put some kind of roof over the beds on that house boat, a plastic to cover the area to avoid the rain and maybe provide a ladder. The pole is a fun idea but it's straining physically, and again some people aren't able to use it.

Putting the toilets and bathrooms in another area is also incovenient, what if someone has a stomachache and needs to go to the loo urgently?
The slide obviously lacked safety measures, that they put later on.
I guess the guests only remain there for a few days, so it's not something they would find too inconvenient, for a few, those kind of stuff could be considered as a weird adventure.

What I reproach on Kian's idea is that he envisioned an idea that in a way excludes other people. Disabled guests could never go there. I suffer from chronic pain, I could never go there as a guest.
This show is only for fit sporty people. The climbing team literally did the job for the cast members.

When I saw the father with his kids, I got worried. I thought there was a lack of safety measures, and honestly I'm uncomfortable seeing young kids in an environment that could be dangerous for them.

The house in the mountain, it's the same. That fireplace is no joke, breathing too much smoke is not good for someone's health.
The lack of safety measures really worried me. The only thing that brings me relief is that there are staff and security guards to intervene immediatly. But the concept should have been thought more thoroughly.
As for the regular members of the cast , the only one I find reliable enough is that Jin guy (yeah I know he's from BTS, it's my way of speaking). I'm disappointed that the girl memeber Ji Ye Eun lacks confidence and the ability to overcome her fears. Maybe she's very scared of pole or of height, in that case I can understand. But each time people have to help her. As a regular member, you're supposed to show confidence and hide your fears in front of guests, how else could they put their trust in you?
But when she got her license to drive a boat, she behaved too recklessly, giving up the command to the other guy. What if there was an accident because of this? I know she got that license recently for the show, but she wasn't ready for this. She's not assertive in her ways. She should work on herself and improve on that matter.

Those are the negative points.

On the plus side, I was honestly more impressed by the guests and their gentleness and understanding. Either it's for the show, they didn't speak out or they are truly nice but there are things I would have been unable to support. Big up to them.

I'm starting to watch that drama because of all those TikTok vids and that whole step siblings stuff with the dad trying to murder his son all the time. Yeah I got spoiled in the vids.

I'm at episode 8 and still waiting for Ildo to figure out he's trying to kill his kid and that Dong Ju was actually doing his step sister.

But the FL is quite different from princess Leia, I mean she's got no job and takes time to figure out stuff. She lives with a whole bunch of murderers in her house and never tried to figure out when they are so sketchy, even a blind granny could see it. She's clumsy, giving info to the enemy easily. The way she hides her phone when she figured out Ildo was the one shooting Dong Ju. Bruh, you could have figured out earlier if you didn't stop watching that vid the first time you watched it. But no princess needed her tissues to wipe off her tears.

And she got married to get the shares of her grandfather, breaking off with the ML for this. So she lives off her grandpa's ass? Lack of female power. I would rather have that female hacker showing up more, she looks more useful, or the doctor woman, she's more observant.
Her aunt has more character than her, even if she's an idiotic thief and a liar, at least she's funny XD.

When actors have rumors about them dating or having a past relation, while one of their drama is currently being broadcasted, they will often deny the relationship, and then when the broadcasting of the drama is finished, they will admit the relationship.

When Song Joong Ki ( I know lots of people don't like him because of what happened with Song Hye-Kyo, whom I quite appreciate as an actress, but nevermind, he's just an example) was doing his drama Reborn Rich, there were rumors that started about him dating a foreigner with pictures starting to show up. It was first denied, then after the drama, the actor admitted it. It was an adult consenting relationship.

Jung Woo Sung (yeah he's a cheater, call him whatever) had a child with Moon Ga Bi, just before the awards ceremony he was supposed to attend, he admitted his relationship, he admitted his kid, he gave a whole speech. I won't give him the award of father of the year but he told the truth. Call Moon Ga Bi a gold digger or whatever, maybe both of them were in open relationships, they were both consenting adults that agreed on having a kid.

I'm pretty much sure I could give a whole list, but in the end what normal actors that are or WERE in a normal consenting relationship do, is that they tell the truth in the end. They don't lie FOREVER, because if one of them denies it, the other who admits the relationship will be called a liar.
They are not perfect, but they tell the truth about something important like this, I will rest my case on other issues they could have caused before.

When KSR showed the picture on instagram, it was just after the episode of the kiss in QOT that was being broadcasted. I remember back then, people said she showed that picture bc she was jealous, called her names. Goldmedalist denied the relationship, KSH denied the relationship, but after the broadcasting of the drama, he could have had admitted it. Why didn't he do that? Especially when she got harassed by his fans, some Ytbers, the media who were calling her a liar, an attention seeker and other horrible names?
Bc their relationship was not sane, it was not a consenting adult relationship. Videos at that time in 2024 kept showing up, already questioning their age gap, what if he had a relationship with KSR when she was a minor? Other weird videos of him kept appearing:
-the one where he said that he wanted to marry a 21 yo when he'll get 41 yo, and the interviewer joked that his future wife would probably be in kindergarten right now
-the one where he claimed that 13 yo Kim Yoo Jung was quite mature and he couldn't wait to play with her as partners in the future
-the one where he touched inapropriately U-Kiss's Kevin who was 17 yo at the time, 19 yo Korean age
-the one where he accused another actor, who was a minor, from stealing his girl Nam Ji Hyun 15 yo, in "Will it Snow for Christmas?". It could be seen as a joke, but there's a pattern actually there.

He kept denying the truth, he kept letting KSR being thrown to the wolves while he could have told the truth. Doesn't he have any conscience? Any morals?
Because he feared the truth, he feared for himself because what he had done wasn't morally right. And in the end, what happened in February 2025?

Doing a press conference to clarify stuff, but not answering questions, especially the one asking " When did they meet?", crying under tons of makeup and a wig without any kind of intelligible arguments.
Yeah, that tells pretty much everything. I could do a whole analysis of this with the facts just linked, but I'm too lazy for this. I'm done with this case. Just another tragedy that happened in a silly world.

Both IU and Suzy did a cameo in the movie Real. It was a strange movie. I found it full of nonsense and weird acting last time I watched it in 2024. I never gave it a review bc it was garbage. The audition for the movie were also odd from what a previous auditionee said. I read her testimony. It felt creepy

KSR should have been protected, but she fell into a trap laid by a cunning predator.
Her mother was suicidal when she was a kid. There's no need to blame her parents, maybe those parents themselves needed help, mental health issues shouldn't be mocked on. KSR was bullied at school when she was a kid, meaning she was isolated from people of her own age. She was a young actress who worked with older people.

In other words, she was isolated and vulnerable, easy to be manipulated, with no real healthy adults to shelter her from any harm.

In criminology, predators often operate in this kind of way. In most cases, acts of abuse are perpetrated by people close to the victim. The predator will get close to the victim, target the victim depending on their background, their vulnerability, the easiness to manipulate them.
They will befriend their victim, isolate the victim from people close to them, make the victim depend solely on them. They will praise the young victim by telling them how mature they are for their age, how beautiful and intelligent they are. (go watch the interview with Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Yoo Jung, same speech of manipulation)

The victim who suffers from lack of self esteem will gobble everything. And then the abuse will begin, and the predator will manipulate the victim so that they don't rebel. If something happens, it's the victim's fault ( KSR's letter that pleaded forgiveness from KSH after she showed their picture on Instagram, quite strong evidence of the power he hold over her)

There was a case like that I've heard about in my country. A young boy didn't get along with his parents, and asked to be emancipated at the age of 16, he explained everything to the judge and told the judge that a close friend of his family, his godfather from what I remember, would be able to support him and host him. The judge agreed to emancipate the teenager, and guess what happened with the godfather who hosted the young teenager? The judge later on got aware of it, the godfather was sent to jail.

Same modus operandi.

Just saying. This kind of case is so often seen actually, it's just that it concerns actors, while other cases like that concern ordinary people.

When articles came out about working in cafe and people mocking her, there were still people defending her in the comments, they were fewer, but they were there. Lee-Sun-Kyun 's death made me reluctant to condemn anyone and to double think about what the media give us as information.

The fact is, we couldn't have known that KSR and KSH's affair was as serious as it was. Who could have predicted that someone like KSH would be such a horrible person? Prejudice isn't good but sometimes it's a lesson for us to listen and pay attention to details, small evidence sparse left and right. When someone gather all the small evidence shown years after years, through videos of strange behavior from the man, then the truth comes out much more clearer.

I actually watched that movie a few years ago but dropped it, skipped the scenes. It was plotless.
I've watched mature movies like Mademoiselle or Frozen Flower.
This movie Real was pure garbage. I usually rate the movies I watched on mydramalist but never bothered for this one.
Knowing what happened to the actress, and knowing what kind of person the main actor and director are. There's no wonder why it was a disaster. Police should investigate money used for the movie, just saying.

I doubt IU would remain or become true friends with a guy who did nothing when his costar Sulli got bullied. Most of so called friendships are just for PR. It's difficult to determine if celebrities are real friends irl or just faking it.
In this case, I think she was faking it but I may be mistaken.

The Man from nowhere was one of the first Kmovie I watched when I started to get interested in Korean film industry. I used to never pay much attention to actors, I usually prefered enjoying the plot. I'm quite ashamed to have never paid much attention to this actress or watched any of her other works. I still remember reading articles mocking her because she was working multiple jobs and people took pictures of her like a walk of shame for her dui. I felt bad reading those articles, thinking they were too much.
I usually read articles for curiosity but this was too much.
This girl suffered so much, and now knowing that she was groomed, at the mercy of a selfish childish man. This is too much heartbreaking.
Everyone was against her, she was at the mercy of a childish man for her debts, she got bullied from everywhere, with no one to lean on to.
One of the only person who tried to help her, couldn't because of that man.
Her life was just horrible. I hope she's in peace right now.
