Some epi may be dull and messy ,but you should continue,it’s a great drama overall
Honestly, I'll figure out later if I want to catch up again. The show stressed me too much. Yeah, I still liked it, hence why my rating but my expectations were maybe a bit too much, or maybe because I'm in the mood for more romance right now.
I stopped watching at episode 12, I thought I would catch up but looking at the spoilers, I'm not gonna waste my time. I wanted the drama to be more romantic and focus more on the relationship between the couple, just watch some fluff, not some weird mumbo jumbo on those cockroaches of villains. So, I'm still gonna rate it. 8,5/10 for the acting, the ost and the comedy. That's it. There were barely kiss scenes, it's an adult couple that already had pregnancy and they act like clumsy teenagers in love. So disappointing. Where's the romance there?
With all those tears that could make an ocean, I just wish a white shark would come and eat Eun Sung and his mom. This woman is literally Joo Dan Tae's sister in every way possible.
I agree to all your points but please don’t call it fancy tarot witchcrafter… karma as a concept reflects…
Yeah I heard about that, the thing is that so many are using those concepts. I myself when I tried to read about it I thought, ok let's take a look later on. Too many things to know about, lol. Then when I saw so many quacks on TikTok and Youtube trying to tell your future or whatever and using all kinds of terms from either Hinduism, Buddhism, or even Greek/Egypt mythologies, making a mix of everything, I was like nope wth? Just trying to figure out sidereal and tropical astrology is a headache.

I make a difference between Karma from Hinduism and Buddhism and the word karma that's used in so many ways that you wonder what they're talking about. Sorry if you thought it was targeted towards those communities. I'm more talking about conartists that wanna tell you your fortune, fake horoscope and the likes.
It's too funny. Korean violent society is too funny. Lots of societies are violent but dam*, they don't make a show like this one lol. Quite entertaining
They've got rapist p*** actor thriving in their career after getting sentenced and drug addicted K actor who got sentenced and now are thriving in their career. Well those people had to wait a few years to ensure that people got Alzheimer afterwards to go back to work.
If bullying causes violence between students, then change your system to sentence those minors, right after the misdemeanor was done. They could have charged the underage delinquent for assault.
Don't wait for the alleged victims to do a witchhunt decades later to get revenge after they figured out where their dear bully is hiding. But being a bully at school and choosing a career in the public's eye must be the most stupid thing someone could be doing.
All Kdramas show that violence is quite common in that society. From kicking your subordinates at work, pushing them, touching them against consent, forcing them to drink, to kick your schoolmate. All acting in such an hysterical way you wonder if they don't have a mental problem. It's not as if those cases didn't happen irl. I still remember that case about that nutjob rich harpy in a plane who pushed a tantrum worthy of a rich spoiled 5 yo brat.
Well now they must be happy, millions of people are now bullying that young lady. Social media justice right in the work lol. What do those fancy astroligical tarot witchcrafters call it again? Ah yes, karma.
My sarcasm is so strong that I'm sure someone can feel it miles away. Hopefully, people who read it will have some brain cells left, otherwise make sure to make an appointment with a neurologist.
So the ML has never seen FL's childhood photos, even after being married for many years? That is just nonsensical.
Maybe because her childhood was painful and she didn't want to be reminded of it, and with her mom hating her, her brother fearing her and her father ignoring her, I doubt they had anytime to take sweet pictures of her, besides none of them.
Exactly!!! Ep 9 was amazing and showed us alot of changes and that alot of changes WILL happen. I don't understand…
Yup, I also think that the hunting scene in the previous episodes between Eun Sung and Hyun Woo wasn't for nothing. There was clearly a killing intent with the guns It was mentioned that Hyun Woo was a skilled marine force before and a skilled shooter. Like who else? Odysseus. I'm hoping that this theory of mine is gonna show itself in the next episodes.
Lol people who don't seem to understand that episode 9 was the turning point of the story.
From episode 1 to 8, all the villains were united towards one goal: overthrow the Hong family and take their fortune. In order to do that, they created discords between family members, installing distrust between each family members. The grandfather distrusted his children, Hae In's parents distrusted Hyun Woo. Classic divide to conquer strategy. Now that they achieved their goal, episode 9 shows that they no longer have anything to keep them united. They are clearly stabbing each other in the back. Eun Sung against his mother and the matchmaker lady. Da Hye is starting to have a change of her mind while looking at "her son" and thinking of her husband.
Meanwhile, the Hong family who fell from their crystal tower is hit back by a reality check. Each member were shown unpleasant truth about themselves they were unaware of, which eventually will bring them to change for the better and as to why? To unite. The situation will reverse. From the bottom, all the protagonists will unite to overthrow the villains.
Meanwhile, there's the main couple admist their tragedy that are hit by the impending death of one of them. Because of those past events, they are scared to do something that may hurt the other. This episode showed the love that remains between them. And to put a trial for this love, both of them are put in danger by a common enemy. Hae In was calling her husband but discovered that the one having her lover's phone was Eun Sung. What would she think with this situation? That her love is in danger.
It's classic love tragedy with love sacrifice. Trials are put for them to overcome. That reminds me of Penelope and Odysseus myth. Penelope had many suitors who were after her and wanted to marry her, in order to become king. But Odysseus hid as one of her suitors, and eventually claimed back his place as her husband and king and killed all of the suitors.
It will be the same thing for Hyun Woo. Hae In is his Penelope.
That's the thing. The accusation sounds so exaggerated, who would believe it? But why did the accuser still say…
The thing is that being transfered for school violence and that slap competition claim are 2 separate things. I'm quite bewildered on how someone would go to an appointment with a supposed bully and let themselves slap for 1h30. I also find it hard to believe that someone would actually slap someone for 1h30 without being tired and having their hands hurt. In anyway, most of those bullying cases make me wonder how can people be this stupid?
Dude got slapped for 1h30? How is this believable? Was it for a slap competition? I haven't watched the drama, nor know the actress but seriously🙄. I'm gonna start to believe that American in that Master of the house episode who claimed Koreans are green of envy all the time. They never want to see someone succeed besides them.
There's a theory that Hae In was being poisoned by the mistress, since if she had a real tumor, she would lose lots of weight, but she gained weight in Germany. Just when she was far away from the mistress. Moreover, the mistress used to be the housekeeper, and was in charge of the meals. What a coincidence that she also drugged the grandpa and it seemed to affect his brain too, there was a scene in which he couldn't read a report that was written in big letters.
The villains for sure need to pay, they are all psycho.
Need more screentime btw 2ml and fl. The dynamics btw them is always interesting throughout 8 eps. He is bold…
Someone who stole the pills of someone sick? Do you know it can be fatal? Even more when it's a serious disease, which is the case here. This dude is the red flag of red flags and only belongs to jail.
8.5/10

Now I think he is just dirt in her eye lol

We really live in a misogynistic world.
