If you feel like it was more than bromance in wu where it's almost nill then what will you say after watching high school frenemy? Haha. You should watch it sometime it's really good! Their dynamic was super intense in that. Wu is more plot driven, higher budget and has a surreal premise.

Every actor at gmmtv has mascots. Ships have common mascots that they call their "kid" and solo actors have their own. Like Win Metawin has Meta, Nanon has his own and so on. Similary, Sky has his own mascot called Smyle and Nani has his own called Neona. Mascots are made to promote their actor's work. They don't even have a common mascot like other ships. Now coming to their work, they have clearly decided to keep working together because that's how their brand has been built now and there's a lot of involvement of gmmtv as well. They want to work together but have boundaries on what they can and can't do. It's the fans that ship them and see all their shows as more than bromance so gmmtv is capitalizing on that. It's natural that the actors would wanna do what is within the confinement of their comfort zone, it's helping their careers and they're very good friends irl as well. It's upto the fans tbh. If they don't want to keep watching their friendship shows their brand will sink on it's own but as long as the fans are engaging they'll find out ways to work together without fixing themselves into a bl ship. I see it as business and personal preference, not queerbaiting tbh.

But how is Wu queerbaiting though? They have mentioned from the beginning that it's a story about friendship, fate and mistery with supernatural elements where have they hinted at romance and not deliver?

Nani plays all his roles with 100% authenticity. Like, one wouldn't be able to guess his real personality with the roles he plays. He's a sweet, innocent, clueless soul irl but his characters are always the exact opposite and he nails them so effortlessly. Such a talent!

Sky's just as good, most of his role in hsf was about yearning and apologizing and he delivered lol he was yearner of the year for me haha but I'd agree Niran is much more interesting with all his powers and aura.

SkyNani are really slaying as NiranPete. Pete is such a baddie damnnnn I love him already! Loved the episode through and through, so gripping, zero filler no time wastage just straight to the point. Amazing!

This show is all we have till 2027 😭 they did not get a new project for next year it still hurts. It's like fate has decided taynew will only do 1 bl in every 3 years

ADaaP is their 1st original bl in years btw. It's not a remake like cherry magic or a sequel like DBK. It's gonna have fresh characters and a new premise. Really excited!!

One of those few masterpieces where heartbreak is the main hero. The chemistry was incredible, the acting was fantastic, the direction, cinematography everything was perfect! It wrecked me but I love this movie so much!

Exactly what I'm saying and ykw, gagaoolala was irresponsible with this too. Why even buy a show that's obviously not gay and then act like "oh we heard you" like who asked wu to be there anyway? Back to back bad decisions by everyone involved that caused so much ruckus.

Exactly. That's why I consider this a good decision. Both parties can be at peace with this. We can support skynani and still not agree with the company's decision to mix bromance with queer media. Gmmtv has to understand that they cannot produce bromances and then expect the major consumption be from bl fandoms. It's utterly stupid and causes the actors to get all the hatred. The target audience is skynani fans, their shippers and the ones who consume all types of media. If they would've done that from get go, the situation would've been a lot better. Skynani has a huge fandom idk why does gmmtv even need to worry about wanting bls fans. Those who wanna watch will still watch them. I'm a bl girlie but I like watching them too.

Well they couldn't have done anything else. Gaga exclusively airs lgbtq+ shows so it wouldn't have made sense to keep a bromance show over there. That only made the queerbaiting allegations worse and many people started hating on skynani instead of just calling out gmmtv. I think it's good for everyone that gaga pulled back. Now atleast skynani wouldn't get hated on because of gmmtv's stupidity. Although the ones who wanna hate will continue no matter what

Okay so it won't be airing on gaga so that's sorted. Bromance doesn't belong on lgbtq+ streaming platforms anyway it was so dumb of gmmtv to do that. Gmmtv needs to get it's shit together, their nonsense got skynani so much hatred. Now can they just air it on youtube? Everyone will be happy!
