To each their own. I kinda like it cause I'm a sucker for hopeless romantic shit, specially in bls. And this one's got TayNew, my fav thai bl pairing cause their friendship irl is sooo cute! About the casting thingy, these two had to be paired together cause their ship is a brand in Thailand. Mostly every maker in filmmaking casts people according to the demand of the role but thai bls work differently especially those under gmm's production. They cast ships that are famous to double the excitement and earnings of the show. And I honestly think TayNew are not doing a bad job at all. They understand their characters. The screenplay is very different from Japan you shouldn't compare. Even Adachi's (Achi) character is different in this one. They've changed a lot of things and there's way more plot cause they've covered 12 volumes of manga unlike Japanese version that had only 6.

Can you suggest me some good bls though? My most fav is I Told Sunset About You. The best thai show I've ever watched. I'd love to watch other beautiful ones.

When the Japanese version was made, only 6 volumes of the manga were available. The author wrote more and has released 12-13 volumes now. Thai adaptation covered all 12 of them that's why it's longer.

Everybody has different taste buddy. You might also like something that I don't. I like this show better than dbk cause it's soft and romantic. Zero toxicity and unnecessary drama. But I didn't defend it in my comment above. I just said that you can drop it, it won't make any difference :) I only wrote 3 or 4 comments in total bruh scroll down and check again lol. It's not that easy to just start loving yourself when you've suffered from chronic low confidence all your life, just because someone else believes in you. I'm sure Achi will get there. It's just the 3rd ep. You can see he's starting to love himself because of Karan's validation. Also, it's not just comedy, it's a rom-com. There are funny moments but there's more romance. Don't give up on the show yet. I'm sure it'll get better :)

Did you just say Tay Tawan isn't handsome enough?? Lmfaooo I'm offended!! No one's gonna take you seriously. My man's super good looking. Don't compare Japanese beauty to Thailand's. Beauty is subjective. Did you want them to copy the whole show? Wouldn't it be boring as hell? The purpose of the whole project was to mould the story and fit it into the Thai culture. I don't think you've watched any Thai show ever cause this one has the least amount of cringe stuff. Thai shows are like that only. Those who've watched thai bls before won't find this one cringey.

I think all Achi ever comes across is insecure. He's full of self pity & constantly compares himself to Karan who's too perfect on the outside (thanks to his wild thoughts, he's humanly naughty too lol) It's quite natural to be jealous of someone that charismatic, I don't think it's off-putting. If anything, it makes it more realistic. Karan wins employee of the year every year while Achi's still in the same position as he was when he started. He only mentioned being jealous once when he couldn't protect Pai. It's minimal & it fades when he realizes Karan can also be mediocre or bad at certain stuffs like, singing. It makes him see Karan in a different light. He sees him as more of a human & less of a perfect guy.

Achi's character suffers from chronic low self-esteem so when Karan looks at him & chooses him among the crowd of people that are way cooler & worthier than Achi, it makes him feel a little less bad about himself. Karan appreciates the little things Achi does at work in his speech which makes Achi realize that Karan doesn't see him as someone smaller than him. He always sees the good in him. He also thinks that Achi is a kind person.

Achi doesn't give himself enough credit but Karan's feelings make him feel special. I think this take is just as beautiful. He'll eventually start loving himself in this process. As someone who's an underachiever & has low self-confidence because of that, I can relate to Achi on a personal level. Seeing people your age doing better than you really stings. Alas, I don't have a simp like Karan in my life to make me feel even half as special.

My man Achi stood no chance from the start. Karan's a whole forest. No one can resist his charm in general and it's next to impossible when he's head over heels for you. Going by the preview of ep 4, Achi's finally going to start developing feelings for Karan. Man I need to watch it asap damn it 6th Jan is too far 😭

Right! Although I still hope gmmtv can sort it out and put the show back on youtube for international fans. The reach that youtube can give is unbeatable. I want every bl fan to watch this show. It might be TayNew's last show as a pair, it deserves to be a mega hit.

I don't know whether they steal data or not but there's no virus related issue. I'm using this app and it's quite convenient for me so far. I've been using other vpn apps to access restricted sites for a while now and I never faced any such issues. Give it a shot :)

The thing is that it might or might not take sometime for them to add eng subs. In case there's a delay, I request you guys to please just wait until they sub it. Watching it from pirated sites will do no good to TayNew. If we watch in on VIU the views will be counted. That way we'll be able to support them.

In the meantime gmmtv might try to resolve the issues and get the permissions to upload it on youtube or somewhere else. Please watch it legally it'll be good for the show's ratings and popularity.
