Hm I guess that's how BOC likes to sell it. They marketed KP like that which didn't attract me at all. Not a BOC fan so won't take sides here. In KP, only the mafia part looked interesting to me but apart from that it had zero depth so I dropped it midway. I just found this show the day the 1st episode premiered so I didn't have to skim through any trailers or teasers. I'm enjoying it up until now and I'm pretty open to changing my opinion. After all I'm a professional series dropper lol

The sex scene was just 5 minutes long other than that if you combined both the eps there's almost 90 minutes worth of content what are you even talking about? Are we watching the same show?

The friendship part is good no doubt but they didn't have much story to tell so it started to get repetitive for me

I didn't like We Are as well. Too childish for me. A feel good drama isn't supposed to be 16 eps long lol gmmtv can't even handle the normal 12 ep long shows and have many a times fucked up great storylines. They make me nauseous by the 10th ep by dragging the shit out of promising shows so just imagine sitting through basically nothing for 16 long eps

Not only that, there are several other reasons. The adaptation is lazy, the execution is lame, there are too many commercials it fucks up the entire experience of watching. It's too childish for a grown ass adult like me (ik I'm not the target audience, it's for teenagers mostly) the bg music is annoying. The editing is sloppy. The camera angles are weird. I never finished the japanese version only watched 2 or 3 eps so I ain't even comparing it with that. There's little to no chemistry(no hate to the actors). Everything looks forced. This one just did not click so I dropped it after the 5th ep. Haven't even commented after dropping cuz why would I spread hate if I ain't even watching anymore but I still sometimes come here to see people rant non stop lol I find it kinda amusing.

I won't mind an open ending as long as it's just about the plot. But I would definitely want a closure for TymeGreat. Even just a hint that they're fine & together would do.

Couldn't stop giggling at Tyme trying to woo Great, who was just minding his business. It's funny how Tyme was not even slick about it lol but the ending of this episode depicts that Tyme has a hidden agenda. He's trying to get close to Great only to break his heart :( I hope in the end he chooses his love for Great over whatever motive he has. I won't be able to digest a sad ending for these two.

Wtf is wrong with you? You think you're better than everyone and yet you're telling someone to harm themselves. Have some basic empathy. You're still so young, how come you're already so violent? An 18 yo is a legal adult who can make his own decisions. And why are you even here? This show isn't for kids.

The most important factor for me is patience. I don't have it anymore. I can't sit through repetitive plots that serve no real purpose. ITSAY also had a simple story but the cinematography & symbolism made it so much better. Either you bring out a fresh plot or execute the same overly used plot in a different manner that can keep the audience hooked. Gmmtv hasn't stopped using the same old bl formula yet. They keep hiring new actors when in reality what they actually need is a good writing team and experienced directors. The cinematography also isn't nowhere as brilliant, Infact, they often fumble with the editing and make everything look cheap as heck (MLMU is the latest example) so the struggle is real for a picky watcher like me

Mostly cuz you're still young :) you can relate to teen romances much more than us adults can. I used to enjoy bls a lot better when I was younger. Your taste & preferences change significantly as you grow older.

It's as if you spoke my mind. Didn't watch anything other than Cherry Magic Thailand (and that too cuz it's got TayNew) haven't been able to find a good bl these days. And yes, ITSAY is the best Thai BL out there. It set the bar too high for me.

Glad to have found someone who is also unable to enjoy any of the recent series. For me, the bls these days are either too childish (I'm 25, so the high school romances are a big turn off for me.) Or they've got lame plot/acting. I'm still in disbelief that after months of drought I accidentally found 4 Minutes and actually enjoyed it like I used to enjoy the old bls. It's got great potential. Suspence thriller/mystery is one of my fav genre so my hopes are high.
