Me too omg I never gave any BOC production a chance cuz I just can't handle the pretentiousness. The characters try so hard to act cool that it just kills the vibe for me. I dropped KinnPorsche sooner than I expected. I thought I was the only one who didn't like it. I gave 4 minutes a chance cuz the pairing has chemistry and there's time travel as theme. I really hope it doesn't end up like KinnPorsche cuz I like the cinematography a lot(it doesn't seem cheap) and the main couple looks hot to me. Also, Jes is an experienced actor so I'm hoping he'll do a good job. There are only 8 eps which I think is a good thing cuz there are less chances for it go downhill if they don't plan on dragging it lol I'm okay with anything— less intimacy or too much sex as long as there's a strong plot backing it up.
I personally am looking forward to watching Kidnap the most cuz Ohm never disappoints & as you said, the plot is fresh. And also, peaceful properties just cuz it's TayNew. It's gonna be an unserious comedy so there won't be many things to complain about (hopefully, lol)

I couldn't agree more with your opinion. Nothing but the truth. Gmmtv is slacking these days cuz they think their ships have so many fans that even if they put out trash shows people will eat it up. I'm ngl it is true to some extent but there are people who prefer a good substantial plot, cinematography, acting & chemistry above the pairing. So putting a popular ships in lame shows can only take gmmtv so far. If they continue doing this with their upcoming shows, I'm afraid people will start to realise their shows aren't worth their time anymore especially when other productions are working hard to put out good content (for eg, 4 minutes by BOC seems so promising)

Girl I've been watching gmmtv shows since 2018 I think I'm eligible to talk about it. Even my fav pairing is TayNew. I don't ship them romantically, just love their friendship. But Gmmtv lacks substance. I think you misunderstood my point. I'm not talking about just the nc scenes really. I hated KinnPorsche lol. Idc about adult scenes. Even if there are no kisses, I'm fine with that but I feel their quality is deteriorating these days. I like the old gmmtv shows better than the recent ones. They don't have good stories to tell anymore so much so that they've switched to making remakes. Whatever they make, they make it super childish. There's no depth in their characters nowadays.( Part of it might because now I'm way older than I was in 2018.) Talking about explicit stuff, gmmtv doesn't even need to do that in the first place because they've managed to make a huge fanbase without it. But I find most of their onscreen kisses a bit awkward except the rooftop kiss from Bad Buddy 10/10 no notes!
I can't believe people are complaining about the nc scenes when there is so much story to unfold. I don't like porn without plot either but this show clearly has a very strong plot and so much mystery. Who tf cares about some adult scenes just skip it if y'all aren't comfortable. The episode was around 57 minutes long and the nc scene played for barely 5 minutes. So many other things happened in the other 52 minutes. The pace is fantastic for a pilot. I've been struggling to find a good show with a hint of gay elements for so long I'm glad my search has haulted for a while.
Loved the first ep!! Very engaging. So excited to watch how the plot unfolds. Can't wait to see how Tyme & Great get together. I personally didn't like Bible's character Vegas cuz it was getting too toxic and messy. This one feels so much better. His chemistry with Jess looks organic. Not to mention, both of them are hot. The nc scenes in this series are explicit but look so natural. No awkwardness, no hesitation. Gmmtv could never lol
They've left me with no choice but to use pirated sites to watch it now. If those sites don't include the nc scenes will you guys be so kind to provide the link to the uncensored version here. Never even heard of it. 'I told sunset about you' was also a coming of age drama with high school guys as leads but even people in their 40s could sit through it cuz it was beautifully crafted. So your point doesn't make any sense here.
I couldn't finish the Japanese version of mlmu because it wasn't my cup of tea. But do I judge or shame people for loving it? Nope. To each their own.
As someone who didn't even like the japanese version, I think Thai version is even worse. I gave it a chance over and over again until I couldn't stand it anymore. The direction, editing, music everything is a mess. It's like they were in a hurry to release the episodes so they uploaded the raw version without paying much attention to the cinematography. I don't find people disliking it trying to gaslight others into hating it. Then why are people like you who like this drama trying pull down those who don't like it? Be more receptive of criticism. Just cuz you like something doesn't mean everyone should.
