Thank you!

Happy ending? Open ended?

It's good! So far, it's fluffy.

Wow. I didn’t recognize the FL. Plastic surgery was a mistake. She used to be so cute!

It’s out on Tencent YouTube channel

Thank you! I will definitely watch it. Can't wait until Tuesday.

Happy Ending?

First four episodes are out on the Tencent channel of YouTube. I guess it will be out later today on Viki. So far it's good!

Good drama overall. I had been looking forward to the fifth sisters story the entire time but ended up very disappointed. They made her too violent and unforgiving, She went from likeable and fun to off-putting and just an overall mean person. Also, the action by the Li family when the fifth male leads family got in trouble was uncharacteristically selfish. Bad writing on the fifth arc, but otherwise a good show. If you stop at Ep 30 it's a perfect drama.

I just watched it on a different site., Yikes! That's really obvious, there are ropes everywhere.

What is the Ep and Timestamp? I heard people mention this. I am watching on Youku and didn't see it. I even re-watched the fight two or three times. Wondering if different platforms got different versions of the video file.

Totally different style. Sins is a gritty revenge mystery with no real fantasy elements (hypnosis aside). Tree is a more lighthearted kung fu show with lots of fantasy and magic.

Both are great!

Thank you! I really don't know why so many Chinese dramas are dubbed. It can be distracting.

Is this dubbed? If so, their own voice or voice actors?

Does anyone know if they are going to change the ending from the one in the book?

Best drama of 2025 so far.

The drama started losing me during the competition for the wolf lord. Where ninjas are popping out everywhere killing contestants and the emperor doesn’t seem to mind at all.

I mean if it’s okay to blatantly have people raid the field and kill your opponents why stop at 20-30 ninjas? Just march your entire army in and kill everyone and crown yourself wolf lord? The emperor is totally cool with it.

It’s bad. I had hopes for it, and even forgave the CGI done by day laborers they hired from the Home Depot parking lot, but the writing just doesn’t make sense in so many places.

ML and 2ML are both major simps. The FL doesn’t sleep around, but she constantly makes stupid decisions, despite the fact that we’re constantly told she’s brilliant by everyone in the drama.

Basically it’s really badly written by a writer who is not smart, so is incapable of writing intelligent characters. All they can do is have other characters in the drama say, “wow, so-in-so is so smart!” Meanwhile we watch so-in-so continually does dumb stuff.

Costumes and some of the sets are very good, CGI is terrible. Overall story is good on a macro level - but the writing is bad, so there are giant plot holes and "smart" characters constantly making stupid decisions.
