That’s impossible. Iqiyi’s entire quarterly drama cost is 5bn yuan for everything they air across genres including variety shows, movies and kiddy content. The most expensive dramas made were nowhere near that - Longest Day in Changan (Youku) rumored at 600mm yuan is said to be the most expensive drama made. JOL (Tencent) was also about 600’mm yuan but nowadays most S/S+ dramas are about 300mm (Lost You Forever. Cheng Yi ‘s pay rate is high but not in that league. This was probably at most 200-300mm.
