I agree that is what QS thought but I think there are many super suspicious things about the crime scene itself:
1. Where are mom and dad's bodies? I don't think they are dead. They know where Mdm Wu and maybe the Hero Command Token is. Whoever broke into Sword Manor wants the token. It makes no sense to kill them before getting it. Most likely they are in LSF and/or LCZ's hands. 2. Why are there only Huanhua sect bodies? Whoever broke into Sword Manor cannot have no casualties? Why were they removed? Was it because there was a traitor faction in Huanhua sect itself and they turned against and killed each other? Or was the traitor Kaiyan - did he lie about not making it back to the sect on the river route?

Forget about the rating - we are giving too much attention in the comment section to users who are downvoting it and it is encouraging them to continue. If we just ignore it instead of ranting endlessly and pointlessly about it, they will go away.

I think this plot (minus the AI plot) is better than MLC. I found all the cases in MLC kind of boring and the villain was too obvious. But the rapport and humor between the 3 MLs in MLC is way better. The fight scenes here are better, there is a real martial arts choreographer.

I don't think his parents are dead. Their bodies are missing. I think LSF or LCZ or someone else kidnapped them and is holding them somewhere. They may know where Madam Wu/the Hero Command token is so it doesn't make sense to kill them until they get the token.

All good observations. I think it may have to do with the AI plot. Something feels off about the latest 2 episodes and I suspect it may be to do with the reboot. Like he went into a parallel gameplay or something. The issue I have is Wen Ruian's plots are usually quite complex to begin with. To put in this whole game concept adds another layer of complexity. If they can pull it off kudos but this is not the kind of thing that should be attempted with what is a complex plot with many characters to begin with.
