And I can't believe she falls for it and falls in line with his plans so easily. I had hoped Tang Yan would go out of her comfort zone and live up to Yanyan's reputation as a smart and strong woman but she defaults back to her usual same old same of being a very pretty but weak Mary Sue all over again. Her strong moments are dressing down a concubine and her brother in law with a few sharp words. Even Ms Li is turning out to have more back bone - Derang would be better served riding off into the sunset with her and not looking back.

I am a bit disappointed with 22 and 23:
