She is cute and quite lovely but the first actress is beautiful, graceful and adorable. It is very difficult not to compare them and find her lacking. She just doesn't look convincing as someone a bored immortal is going to be obessed and besotted with for a thousand years over 10 lifetimes. It is an unfortunate mistake the first actress better fits that description. They should have just used Lusi from the beginning.

Sure, but anyone rooting for the other guy would probably not consider it a happy ending, no? And things really didn't end well for the other dude... But I must be missing something - I didn't see what was inferred on the other site, I am only on this one.

I am watching Secrets of the Three Kingdoms. I thought it would be heavy political have to watch slowly but it is actually very good and quite engrossing. Check it out. I am at about 18.

They were gradually conditioned - first they start seeing spirits and all kinds of supernatural events occur around them. It starts to become more their reality as they go along. The Lang tribe seems to practice more animism and Ming Yefeng was well exposed to supernatural events at an early age and he has some invincible bodyguards so the leap to being a deity should not be that big for him. It was messily done but once they start recalling their past incarnation it also probably was the step that leads to final acceptance.

The casting of Guo Jia character is spot on and delicious.

I am still only in the first quarter but I think the emperor's character is limited by history. If they stray too far in making him less weak, it is no longer believable. Within that constraint, so far I don't think the character is that bad...

The actress is ok but the character is that of a tough cookie. That doesn't always come off well. The role is that of a working girl so her appearance is supposed to be more competant/functional than a beautiful decorative pot. I think she is attractive - she is statuesque and her hair is her real hair its not a wig. But she is not Chinese Barbie if that is what you want to watch you will think she is plain.

Yes it does but it is a love triangle so you have to be on the correct side of the triangle to think so.

I am in the last inning but this also lost momentum for me around where you are. But it is still not terrible. Just that it starts with a bang and then fizzles out which is your typical c-drama. Hope it picks up steam again instead of continuing to deflate. Xie Xiao does get less obnoxious but its gonna take awhile judging from where you are. You could consider just FF him.

Its gotten better, the first episode was quite bad.
