I think she made a huge impression on him in the beginning. It was admiration for her deductive ability and the gun but complete and utter horrorified fascination at how vile and crass she was. That turned into attraction that shocked him. His face is so funny. I felt exactly the same. I thought ugh, what a horrible girl at the begining I even dropped it because she was so gross. I still can't believe I like her now.

Another silly chinese drama, drop it after watching ep 1
I didn’t like the first few I started this while airing and dropped. I thought the girl was obnoxious but funny. Went back to it much later. It’s not perfect but I changed my mind about the FL -she just cracks me up. Watch at least the first 5 before deciding.

Bai Lu is great, one of the really best. But this actress is really the best I have seen so far at comic relief, I don't think the show would be the same without her.

He is like a plank. It helps a bit that the character is written to be like that but I won’t lie It was bad. I still enjoyed the show though - it’s not just about him and the rest of the cast is good and so is the story.

It is a sad but fitting ending. Nobody has a happy ending and some of them are doomed to suffer for eternity. But if you read and appreciate a lot of Chinese mythology you won't think it is bad or that callous. I still really like it but I am the minority.

I know - Wuji is like my fav Jin Yong male character and they really didn't do him justice. Its still a really good remake.
