Its just one theory I have. I think its obvious he is a Haiya remnant. But I don't think he was the Yesha 1.0 who died on that boat. He became Yesha 2.0, either to figure out who his whole organization is OR to get justice for Haiya. That's the only explanation that can bridge the age gap bc he is way to young to be Yesha 1.0. This may also explain why he disappeared for 3 years - he never really shared what he was doing or what he may have discovered during those 3 years.

Someone please take the comb away from Beiming β€” he looked so good with that messy wavy hair, damn.
πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ He really needs to let his hair down. He looks so uptight with it tied up.

I still think that it's a twin story. One raised in the Qi kingdom, the other raised by a Haiya massacre survivor,…
It could be that Yesha was on the boat and he was either the FL's father or Miao Jie. Before he died, he told Beiming the truth of his origins, that he is a Haiya remnant. Beiming then assumed his identity as Yesha - after all since no one has ever seen Yesha, who will ever know?. His goal may have changed from exposing Yesha to exposing the Haiya massacre.

Don't be too quick to judge or over react to the poison plot as too many people here have. I don't think it is…
I don't think he is Yesha. I just suspect he is another Haiya orphan and the poisoning may have been deliberate bc it gives him the chance to steer the investigation in the direction of Haiya. All roads lead to Haiya.

She's virgin upto age 299 cuz the ML took her virginity and at ep. 19 it says a year later I.e. She's now 300years…
Its called rounding-la, its not a physics test - that kind of precision is not needed. πŸ˜…
Ever watch the 30-year old virgin? She is behaving like that, with one more zero to her number.

I did not enjoy her acting in JOL2 and I don't like it here either. IMHO the original Ling'er in S1 was a lot…
Yeah I am not opposed to the mild romance- she was part of the original novel so its fitting to include her.

I just rewatched JoL2 and realised that Gina Jin was there too. Her role was funny and interesting as the heroine…
I did not enjoy her acting in JOL2 and I don't like it here either. IMHO the original Ling'er in S1 was a lot better. But since her role here is small, I can live with it.

He also seems to be colluding with her maid, who is most likely Yesha's underling.

I will also point out that Zhao Dongling is on this production team, though as Production Designer, whatever that means. She is a multiple award winning screenwriter, highly regarded in China. I don't think she sets up bad writing tropes for no reason. There should be many good reversals in this story. Watch it with an open mind and fade or block (as I have) the empty tins that make the most noise but say nothing useful.

and just another way to force the ML and the team to revisit the Haiya cover up with a sense of urgency. I never really bought that the goofy coroner Feng gave the FL the wrong bottle accidentally. That would be an utterly absurd thing for the top disciple of Ghost Valley to do. Even if he really is who he says he is, he could well be another Haiya orphan. They are all coming out of the woodwork. He has been on my suspect list ever since the ML got poisoned.

Don't be too quick to judge or over react to the poison plot as too many people here have. I don't think it is there just for the sake of melodrama or bc of bad writing. It is possible that it will be revealed that the poisoning was deliberate

It's not at all bad. People who are watching it are enjoying it. The ratings are troll-induced fits of annoyance…
The last time she "attacked" the male lead was in ep 3 or 4. Did you continue to watch or have you stopped there? Because the narrative has long since moved on but you seem kind of stuck in the early episodes.

I doubt he will ever complete it as anything he writes will be diluted by the TV series ending.

She can also do cold stoic quite well.
