I think you probably have but you may not realize it - The Untamed and Ever Night are both cultivation series even though they are more xuanhuans, not xianxias. And many xianxias like Love and Redemption have strong cultivation aspects although they focus primarily on the romance.

Well technically Emperor Yan Huai did nothing wrong. Yan Han doesn't exist to the outside world. I did think Yan Han got off easy and that Shen Wan's father and Prince Jin weren't exonerated in a good way. But I can't see any other way that wouldn't destabilize the kingdom, esp with a child emperor at the helm.

In some dynasties, it was customary to kill the second twin to ensure there would be no disputes for the throne later on. But the empress couldn't bear to do that so she asked her maids to lie, claimed she only had one child and sent the other one away for good.

Not a bad ending although it was a bit ridiculous to have all the villains do each other in so that the main leads didn't have to get their hands dirty or take the law into their own hands. And the emperor got off a bit easy bc I guess some things are so evil and scandalous they have to be covered up for the greater good.🤷🏻‍♀️
