Yups - same here - I liked her in her earlier dramas but she changed beyond all recognition into baby Angelababy with her obvious obsession with her camera angles. I expected to drop this but to my surprise, she seems to have reconnected with what got her noticed in the beginning. I don't love her voice acting I think its pretentious and creepy not seductive but I think that is on GJM.
I so badly wanted to watch this for the scenery and I really liked Yu Shi in Creation of Gods. But ughs Zhou Yiran/ Li Wenxiu put me off from the very first episode. I don't like her acting in anything and everything I have ever watched her in and her character from what you describe (and I suspected) sounds like a piece of poop. Ugh! What a waste!
