Should the prediction be correct, Xie Jiayu will unfortunately be presiding over a funeral procession with Xiao…
Xie Huaigui doesn鈥檛 have to get his way and I seriously don鈥檛 want to watch any of those kinds of tired tropes that is why I have skipped so many idol dramas this year. I want the drama to focus on how Jiayu鈥檚 battlefield innovations helps Wuyi whoop the ass of the Northern Qi.

Well the director/writer did go a very different and refreshing direction in how Wuyi's harem is written. And in China, there is building excitement about this drama, many excitedly predicting it will be this summer's dark horse hit. But we have a long way to go still and all that momentum will fade if Li Mao wastes tons of screentime playing your typical delusional SML that kidnaps and forces the FL to marry him. I would rather they focus on Merxat and the Eagle King and how the FL helps the ML defeat Northern Qi with her ingenious inventions instead of rehashing tired love tropes.
I think 18 is old enough and don't see why not as long as both actors are comfortable with it. And if they are…
I think actors preferences do matter - RJL for example is famous for preferring to not do kiss scenes. And as a minor, Ai Mi's legal guardian is required by regulation to be present on set at all times.

Maybe you are right but that would make him exactly the same kind of SML as the one in The Last Jasmine and practically every recent drama. One can (and should) always hope they break that stereotype. Besides, the Grand Tutor does NOT want him to marry Jiayu. He thinks that will turn him into a love brain and undermine his ambition. I am going to root for a different outcome. Poor Riley Wang has played that role so many times - he may have had the good sense to choose one that is not like that this time around.
I think 18 is old enough and don't see why not as long as both actors are comfortable with it. And if they are not, even if she is 19 or 20, they shouldn't do it. Its not so much of an age thing at 18 as long as the actors are ok with it. Yang Zi was clearly not comfortable kissing Wallace Huo in Battle of Changsha and she was 19. That one I feel maybe they should have skipped.

Well I really hope they don't go down that path. Its just seems a super unoriginal and tropey character arc for Li Mao to go down. Its been done too many times and so far this drama has been a lot more original.
Guys someone explain why Lejun is titled 'Xianzhu' and not 'Gongzhu'. She is supposed to be the daughter of late…
Nope - G艒ngzh菙 鍏富 is a first rank princess strictly reserved for daughters of an emperor - there is a high bar for this title. Her father literally has to have sat on the throne or has to be sitting on the throne. So even the daughter of a crown prince cannot be called a G艒ngzh菙 鍏富 until after he ascends the throne and becomes emperor. J霉nzh菙 閮′富 is a second rank princess and Xi脿nzh菙 鍘夸富 is a third rank princess. During Tang dynasty, only the daughter of the crown prince is J霉nzh菙 閮′富. After that all daughters of first rank princes (emperor's sons) are J霉nzh菙 閮′富. Daughters of second rank princes (i.e. sons of the emperor's brothers) are Xi脿nzh菙 鍘夸富. Thus Lejun (and Prince Qi) are descended from the emperor's brothers or cousins. Their father never sat on the throne.

Something tells me ingenious mechanics may not be great fortune tellers so I don't pay much attention to what the old guy has said. It could just be there to give the audience anxiety. We don't have that many episodes left in this drama, hopefully they don't waste it on another 2 weddings.
As I said, that English version is completely made up. That lady is Li Fuhua, the FL's adopted mother and Grand Tutor's now divorced wife. Empress Cui is played by another actress, a very mischievous one that has been in many other dramas. She has not shown up here yet. Just stop looking at that version, most of it is wrong. If you need to look at the chart, just use the Google Translate version someone else posted.
Yeah I wouldn't rely on that - I wouldn't even call it a translation - it is so inaccurate some of it is just plain made up!!! LMAO!!! The google translate version is at least in the ballpark but not the first one.
