I now realize Zisheng’s tone right after the engagement is kind of overprotectively charming. And then when they fought about it and him letting go then regrets. This is the dynamic which hard to pull off if they were not such an incredible actors and actresses.

I wish they’d made that drunk aftermath scenes live. Just imagining it from Lian Fang POV won’t do. 😊💜💚

Don’t you just loves how sparkles Zisheng’s eyes at Shaoshang…
Either it’s far high from the tower dotting for her. Or close range proximity moving in for a nice kiss. Their maneuvers, may it be before or after confession is like the moon orbiting the earth. Simple gesture like her carrying tray of drinks for Zisheng. Or him the way he took Shaoshang’s hand to hold. Precious.

Watching Zisheng stare at Shaoshang, either it’s happy, loving, sad and despair time… it always felt like the first time watching.
That sensation stays there, lingered with your heartbeat.
I missed them, I wish for more episodes on this drama 🙂

Very true. LLTG level is the “it” quality. Each episodes are like hidden gem. Entertaining in its genuine meaning.

Starting to listen the LLTG OST and oh well, brings back lots of good memories…

It’s different with them. All those gestures has depth and intensity.
They bring it to live in such a natural movement. They are amazing, WL & LS

The beginning, Zisheng was all cold and unapproachable. Dark and gloomy. Profoundly upright.
The mid beginning, Zisheng dotting Shaoshang and makes me sad and happy and excited and just hopeful. Until Shaoshang choose A Yao. Bummer!
The mid mid, Zisheng went dark again, schemingly and somehow got his opening to win Shaoshang’s heart again. And after that, I am completely obsessed with their story…😁😁

Zisheng in prone position after flogging punishment, he looks very cool and more sassy. Very swag controlled. Nope, not awkward at all 🤭😁

Wu Lei does 200 percent in acting. That’s why each of his scenes are special indeed.

I was just scrolling through new titles on my watching apps and not amuse by any of them.
And went back straight to LLTG episode proposal.
That is the most cheering than anything I could find. My days are pretty again as I giggles through out Zisheng’s straightforward handsomely determination face, in proposing Shaoshang.
You really brighten up my day, Wu Lei.😁

I can’t choose which is more exciting to watch…. When Zisheng took the initiative to being sweet or is it our brave Shaoshang take the leads. Between the scene sitting under the tree and dressing up like soldiers…💗😉🤭🫣

Still think that best Zisheng hopeful/helpless scene, my two most favorites are:
1. Bombshell Proposal. Shaoshang questioned (or is it challenged?) Zisheng, if he’ll accepts all her flaws. Don’t you just loves his replied.
2. Cliffhanger confession. Shaoshang asked Zisheng to let her hand go. Well, what better answer than “I won’t live without you”.

I still don’t have the courage to move on from this drama.

I’ll stop and stare at that anytime. Then take a selfie😁.
Miss them so much

I am like questioning now (after rewatching LLTG over and over of course):
Why Wu Lei and Zhao Lushi is so good in taking their parts as leads in this drama? And it kept twirling my thoughts now, each time watching any drama. As they set the bar of how leads in romance should be. It’s like they’ve truly found each other.
Their characters are cute-meet and never before has any history in the past. However, the development of their affection is so on point.
I’ve watched other titles of them both (which is also good) but nothing screams perfection like what they did in LLTG.
Bravo! For them…

After rewatching se-ve-ral times, why is it Zisheng glaring and staring grew stronger than before… well, for me .=^.^=.

Wu Lei’s “minute details in the expression” enchanting charms. That is why rewatching this always feels good.

It is very impressive those muted montage of Zisheng’s time in the Northwest. Wu Lei looks beguiling with his scruffy shades.

Ep 54 probably the strongest emotion rollercoaster.
You know when truth is on the table which bitter enough for both of them to swallowed and needs to be digested.
While they were hanging on that cliff for their lives and then survived that and went back to zero.
Shaoshang just went cold again, chilling even. Zisheng stumbled with words. I bet he needed to hugs her at that moment.
Both walking away… everything slowed pace.
All that momentum is like bleak and beautiful.

Ep 53 20:07. Everytime rewatching this scene. Everytime the heart felt a stab of Zisheng’s plead not wanting to live without Shaoshang.

That one pretty strong one. She’s right. He’s right. And us watching baffled, and can’t pick a team. The ending ep 27 very nice, though 😃
