I think because the epilogues in the novel was told from other people's point of views.. like the paparazzi's POVs, or posts online.. So, they didn't tell how intimate YT/JJ behind close doors.. LOL

If you're looking for the mature type of romance, maybe you can try The Rational Life.. The leads are not annoying and stupid. It's a slow burn type, like YAMG.. But, it's not as adorable/cute/fluffy/sweet as YAMG.. TRL is kinda heavier and more focus on their office story..

When I re-watched, I usually avoided ep 15-20.. Because they're just so sad.. But, now I'm re-watching (AGAIN) and I included ep 15-20.. I cried (AGAIN).. can't believe those episodes still can make me cry again.. I'm not usually crying on breakup scenes.. I usually just cried if someone died or something like that.. But, can't believe they can make me cry when I re-watch this..

I think it's because the screenwriter is the author of the novel.. I think Love O2O and Boss&Me followed the novels pretty closely too.. Of course, YAMG followed the novel AND added some bonuses.. LOL

I know, right? In other dramas, I just watch FL do stupid things to get ML's attention, or ML acted arrogantly to appear cool in front of FL. I cringed so hard..
I mean, JJ sometimes do something silly, but we'd find her to be cute, funny and adorable.. We wouldn't cringe and find it stupid.
YT acted arrogant or narcistic, but we'd find him to be cool or funny.. LOL

Honestly, I don't know what exactly you're asking.. But, I just wanna share about what I understand about episode 27.
JJ finished filming the drama in the desert. After she landed in Shanghai, in the car Xiao Zhu asked where to go. JJ said that she didn't miss YT. XZ asked if they'd just go to JJ's house instead. But, JJ made excuses that because of traffic, she was tired and wanted to just go the nearest place (YT's house).
Then, YT asked her how long was her break. She said she had to go in the morning. YT clarified again "But you said that you'll get two-months break". JJ made excuses that because the filming ended late, she couldn't get the break she wanted.. Then, YT received the phone call from Sister Ling. He found out that JJ lied and punished her.. LOL
Then, YT showed her the wardrobe that he had made for her. Because she had two-months break, he thought that she would just spend the break in his apartment, for convenience's sake since he still had to go to work. So, he made space for her in his apartment.. (I swooned in this part when I read the novel, LOL)
In the morning, JJ asked Sister Ling and XZ to bring her clothes and other things that she might need while she was staying in YT's place.
If what you're asking is whether she officially moved in or not. I don't know and I don't think they described it explicitly and the drama didn't show what happened to their daily life after marriage.. But, I assumed that JJ still had her apartment (it shows in Ep30 after the wedding), but normally, she would just stay at YT's place because YT's workplace is nearby.

I know what you mean.. I don't mind that they don't make it public or anything, because obviously it's their privacy.. If they really are "real", I even think that it's safer for them to not make an announcement..
I watched the videos of the banquet from ig posts of the CP stans.. LOL
As YangReba stan, I was hoping that like Janice Wu they'd announce it later... even much later when it's all official.. LOL..

You know what I've been thinking about when I watched that scene.. That bottle was a prop that the restaurant might frequently use for filming.. After YT brought the bottle to JJ's house, the restaurant may have been searching for that bottle because they'd need it for the future filming, but YT took it 😅😅😆

I'm re-watching this drama (again.. I lost count how many times I've done it)..
So, now I'm in episode 8 when JJ was contemplating about gaining weight. She was still thinking about dinner when YT instructed her to watch the video of the games. JJ said that "Your future child will surely be very pitiful"..
Thinking about their future later on, I just find that sentence so funny..
First, because his future child would be hers too.. So, she technically pitied her child because YT would've been strict parent..
Second, in this scene, YT was teaching her about gaming and he strictly instructed her to play the games.. While in the future, YT may strictly prohibit the said child to play games instead of instruct it.. 😄😄
Of course, when JJ said that sentence, she didn't know that they'd share the child.. LOL

I think I know which scenes you're talking about. Honestly I'm kinda confused too what BDS means in those conversations..
For the 1st scene in the school. I read someone's comment about that.. It meant that YT felt that QJJ was his BDS because she could lead him to the right destination (like supporting his dream so he can reach it).
As for the 2nd scene. I think you mean that YT said that "I have BDS" in the wedding scene? I think he meant that he had QJJ so he had BDS.. in the novel, that's what he said.
But.. those are just what I thought.. I don't know if it's really what it means though..

I totally agree with you. This drama really raised my standard for Romance drama.. Making me staying away from Romance drama for now, because I think no romance drama can live up to this one for now.. SO hard to move on..
