oh well for that what i assume is, that the time junhee went into minju again was when she was ready to jump making her extremely vulnerable to the point she would not care what happened to her or her body hence she probably didn't fight junhee for taking control of her again making it easier for junhee to show up and eventually save her.

1. yeonjun died during that car accident. his soul isnt there anymore, only his body remains.
2. minju took control of her own body in the end as she probably learned what was happening after so many switch ups and hence was able to keep junhee in the void. Also the most imp. reason for her to have that control was because she confirmed si heon's feelings for junhee or well according to her someone who looked exactly like her, which explains her facade of pretending to be junhee when she returned.
3. junhee's body is in 2023 only her soul is time traveling hence when minju died her soul went back to its original body.

yes if you can fully grasp the timeline, everything will fall in place as soon as you complete the 9th ep.

things will start making sense by the end of ep 9

i watched the original one when it aired and same with this one.. none of them made me feel off about the way the story was told.. i think it is very well written and has next to no loop holes as it ends up tying everything perfectly. i guess it depends on how much one understands the whole timetravel.

as of yeonjun he was just a very small part of the whole timeline. sadly what is important of him, is his body so it can harbour si heon's soul. just because 2023 junhee doesn't know who the real yeonjun she always loved is doesn't make him the main focus of the story.

lol what ?? junhee will never end up with yeonjun he died when he was 18 (2007) and never returned backed, he is not from 2023 . yes after the loop was erased he would have survived the car crash or that's what we can assume. he was never part of the time travel tho. also in the end siheon ends with junhee and not minju.

yes yeonjun never even met junhee let alone love her.. after the car crash he died only his body survived becoming a vessel for si heon's soul. he 's dead hence never enters the loop

that would not happen with yeonjun as he died (his soul is not there anymore) its just his body that remains .

Noo siheon traveled only twice once after his bus accident in 2002 when he took over yeonjun's body (2007-the future)and then (to the past) in 2022 after the plane crash. As yeonjun died in the crash and the soul went to his original owner which is siheon back to the year 2002 and that's when he woke up from coma. After the crash he did retain all his memories but did not use no walkman to time travel as he lived through all those years 2002-2023 to tell yeonjun about the crash and junhee about all of this.

Look at it like - 1998 si heon is 18 years old.
2002 si heon is 22- has a bus accident travels to the year 2007 in 18 year old yeonjun's body.
2022- during the airport scene si heon in yeonjun's body has lived for 15 years now and his soul is 42 years old.
-after the crash this 42 years old si heon's soul goes to his original 22 year old body. and lives till 2022, making his body 42 years old while his soul now is 62 years old. so the one who inform of the plane crash was this 62 years old siheon.

What do you mean by break out?

well cause the airport scene we saw was not the first one to happen. see its a loop meaning the plane crash has happened before as well so now when in 2022 the crash happens siheon goes back to 2002 then lives till 2023 as a limping man and si heon in yeonjun's body lives from 2007-2022. hence two si heon's for the airport scene in the year 2022.

this one is a bit simpler and not too confusing or slow. the og one may seem slow in the beginning but it has the emotional impact that the remake lacks so if you watch this first and then the original one you'll be able to watch it without comparing it with the og and will end up enjoying both. but then again this is subjective.

the original tape with the writing was given to siheon in 1998 by minju. the same tape was then delivered to junhee by siheon in 2023. its the same tape that helps them time travel.

well for that you need to understand ep 8-9. in ep 8 we saw how a car accident happen(2007) in that the real Yeonjun died but after a few seconds he woke up. now here's the thing it was actually Si heon of the year 2002 (bus accident) who woke up and not the real KYJ.This si heon lives till the year 2022. During the airport scene there is the second si hein who is limping. He is the original si heon in his original body. This happened after si heon in KYJ body had the plane crash and time traveled back to 2002 and woke up from the coma after 6 weeks.
so now:

- from the year 2002-2023 the original siheon in his original body, who traveld to tge past after the plane crash of 2022 lives to tell this tale. he knows everything from junhee to ingyu's death ( 2006 ) to the plane crash.
- from 2007- 2022 is the si heon in KYJ's body who time traveled to future after his bus accident(2002). he knows nothing about ingyu's death that's why the uncle told him he never heard of ingyu again after he was released. he also knows nothing about college going junhee or the plane crash.

- hence from the year 2007-2022 there are 2 si heon's present.

Like 10% yeah. It is just the theme of time travel that's similar. Dark had many time loops going on in different centuries with different themes as well.

that's because its a loop so ofcourse he exists as he time traveled to the past and future. But only after junhee started doing it. In 1998 it was only she who time traveled which was possible because of the tapes she started listening to. if she had not listened to the tapes she would not have gone back si heon would not have fallen in love with him, the uncle would not have given him the tapes he would not have listened to them and never would have time traveled to the future. Nothing that followed would have happened.
