swl was good in Youthful Glory as Jiang Xu, but he was so much better as Luo Ren. This guy keeps on getting better, can’t wait to see him in Shine On Me!
if you love the story, I would recommend reading Star Trails / Speed & Love (played by Heyu & Shuxin). same vibe.
ah is it? for someone who is about to be abandoned by her mother and adapting to father who has a new family, I think her attitude is how she was supposed to react.. grasping for the only family connection she has left, in this case, her "brother".
Plus she also has a growth arc in the novel. pretty impressive as she will work with space agency or something. Maybe try not to imagine Esther Yu while reading it LOL (not my fav casting either, but oh well). Miao Jing also has her childish moment, lol. anyway its just my opinion. I was watching some fans bts video (of swl holding umbrella, carrying zjy on his back, holding her purse, etc) on tiktok and wondering if the drama will white washed the leads character. well they are not exactly bunch of greenflags but that’s what makes them so interesting. Ah i hope not. I really wanna see they stick to the characters in the novel.
