yes they are pretty similar in features but I think swl has a more colder, tsundere, bad boy vibe meanwhile zlh is the best student, favorite son, noble prince kinda vibe 🤣

well its not totally different. I think the drama adaptation grasp the main storyline with adjustments necessary for tv audience. reading the novel enable readers to better understand the characters. experiencing both drama and novel is like enjoying your favorite story in two different way.
