You will understand why Moran did those things to Chu Wanning and you will feel nothing but pity. As for HeYu, even though he was psychologically malade, he didn't show any hint of self improvement till the last page. He didn't any show any Vanilla attitude when he wanted his teacher. Like although I would understand his actions, but his character growth was almost zero.

Episode 7 is too early. From episode 10. That's where chaos erupts.

I haven't watched the Chinese version but I enjoyed this version personally. It's emotionally heavy though

This is not a melodrama but a classic Sageuk. One of those timless dramas, It falls in the same category as Jumong, Dong Yi and Empress Ki. They have long episodes like 60 or even 80. So don't expect solidification pf the plot in early episodes since the writers concentrate on world building and character descriptions. So if you want fast paced melodrama. This is not it. This is a heavy political based drama.

Prince Ramil and Pytai NC scene was WILD....LIKE WILD. you will excuse me but I could clearly see the contrast between the NC scenes of the main characters and that side couple. When I saw that choke ceinture around his neck being pulled, I was like " This is WILD" and when they came back again, those play things being put on Ramil, I felt my face burn 🔥. I couldn't blink.Thailand has gone out with this project, the costumes, plot, actors, BGM and everything screams fortune. South Korea needs to release a Kingdom main stream drama.

The only Chinese drama I get to rewatch. Ever night was great. It had everything be it cinematography, cast, music and the storyline. Ever night is unique, it's not your typical Cinderella who falls in love with a handsome Knight.No!!! Infact Cinderella was rejected here which made it all refreshing ✨️. I had grown tired of dramas whose plot was pure romance, here we have seen lot to discover, season 1 was just the iceberg. I think I should read the novel to complete this beautiful story 😍 however season 2 goes to show how casting change can affect the drama.
