This is good news and new update. 31st june. It's not far though spring will be already over.

I highly doubt Tenecent will sit on immortality, such a blockbuster drama and not air it this year. So those who are spreading those rumours should stop and be patient and hopeful

I read 2HA and Hua Binan is Shimei of another world like another parallel universe. Moran and Shimei can never be endgame because in the novel something happened to Shimei and Hua Binan didn't meet a good end. I just can't SPOIL you. So in the series, they would have used a double as they did with Moran / Taxian Jun and Chu Wanning/ Guqin player (Chufei) for Shimei but I guess they wanted to intrigue the audience which didn't read the novel.

You didn't say it directly but your comment meant that they may sit on immortality like they did with other dramas since everything is possible in China. That's not optimistic and Tenecent knows very well the repercussion of not airing this drama this year because it's not the only BL drama aiming to air this year. So us viewers will loose interest on it and focus on other dramas of that genre. Besides, there isn't any scandal on any cast of immortality. I just wonder why you have such assumptions. BL genre is very sensitive. Many actors have climbed ladders in their careers by just acting in one BL drama. So, It doesn't make the slightest sense to sit on such a BL drama which has been waited on for a year already. Since it's filmed, it will air anytime as there are already hints that it will air this year. Let's not loose hope.

I don't think they will not air the drama because it's not just any drama (it's a BL adaptation) which will be at par with all the BLs that have aired. With big budget and stellar cast, it's not in their own intrest to sit on it and destroy the HYPE.

Yeah you should give it a go although at the beginning, the amount of characters and plots may overwhelm you but it all adds up in the end.

You should definitely watch ever night season 1. It's where CFY really shined. I watched season 2 but the story is all about Sang Sang and Tang's royal family's politics and there are more fighting scenes than season 1 however the actor for Ning Que is changed.

It was taking forever for me to wait for Suika. Once I started, I just wanted the whole book at my disposal. I did notice the difference between mtl and Suika. Besides mtl grammar was off but I still went through with it and understood the story. If I was to wait for her, I would have already forgotten the first part of the translation and I wouldn't be a 2haist now.
