Three men were in love with/liked the FL, two women loved the ML, and SML was in love with the FL, while SFL liked SML.

There is a heavy love triangle, or I'd say pentagon. And a huge second male syndrome for many viewers, me included.

I hope they don't. He was in love with Hyeri, I don't think he can forget her so easily. If he does, then he wasn't really in love with her. And it seems he was never interested in SFL, so even though SFL has hopes, I think he is not in love with her (you can miss someone even though you don' t have romantic feelings for her). I hope that is the meaning behind their last scene.

The first half was very good, imo. Then... It was a waste of potential.

I think the writer tried to trick us with the hug scene (still a beautiful scene), because only Hyeri would have done that, but never Eun Ho (because as you say, she doesn't know Ju Yeon enough). That was out of character.

My favorite character is the real Hyeri (the sister), but I also prefer Hyeri personality over Eun Ho.

In fact, it was 8.2 four days ago.

FL loses her agency when she is with him. She is like a lost puppy asking for his love over and over again. He gives her crumbles and she feels she only deserves that treatment. He several times ignores her when she talks to him. He is superficial too ("don't eat so much, or you won't fit the chair"), and quite rude sometimes.
Those and other are the reasons why many of us are disappointed on the writer now.

It would have been a beautiful ending if the story (from the hug scene) went as you have said. I really would have loved watching it.
