When reading the novel, CX was my least favourite character and I always skimmed through his parts. Watching the drama is different. ZWY really impressed me. I can emphasize with CX and the scenes that I replay the most are his scenes. He''s such a gifted actor.

Great analysis. In any other series (or in real life), this would be an obsessive, unhealthy relationship - can't guilt and pressure someone into loving you.

At this moment, I find his love suffocating. Everyone is pushing her to love him because he saved her so many times and is willing to sacrifice so much for her. Feelings need time to develop and cannot be rushed. Although LY isn't the ideal partner, CSS felt free and happy with him. I'm looking forward to the evolution of LBY's character during the latter part of the drama. Hopefully, he can bring her the happiness she deserves.

I also don't like how they added the infuriating scene of her mom roasting CSS in front of the royal family. That's inconsistent characterization that doesn't make sense. The audience is smarter than that. Just stick to the book.

I found the last few episodes very inconsistent. With the bridge incident, it was well planned and showed patience and foresight, but the altar and seal incidents were rash. I wished they didn't deviate from the book.
